i go to my local mexican fruit stand at least once a week....i dont eat peaches ofter anymore due to the surface texture.....but they have been having AWESOME nectarines...

The fur texture can be something you can get past.  Love nectarines too

Anyways, I think the GA peach is now out of season and other states (Washington, Idaho  ???) are producing right now.
