I'll bite. Sometimes I'll do them, but I'll keep it high rep (15-20) with little rest in between for 3-4 sets. Also, it won't be the first exercise, it'll be the second or third as its a good transition into hamstrings and I want to kill my quads beforehand.
Also, I disagree with cleaning the bar for these, unless you're an olympic powerlifter (and using extremely low reps) or trying to look tough.
