Lonnie Teper has put his swami crown on the line with a prediction that Jay Cutler is going to win the 2009 Olympia....

Now that is a great choice, but I still think and will predict that Victor Martinez is going to come back to his true form and take the title away from Dexter, who also will be in his prime physique.

Who does Isaac have.... probably Phil Heath, his Denver hometown pro, and also a great choice.

But one thing we all agree... there are no clear cut leaders in this years Olympia...

I agree with Lonnie. Jay will make history in 2009 and be the first Mr Olympia who was defeated "on stage" , to come back and regain the title.

let me write this again. vic, wolf or kai will not place ahead of phil. no way ami will let one of them steal his thunder. jay 2009, phil 2010-2015-2016. why would a marketing/media past on a golden image mr O.

I might agree with Lonnie that Jay will take the title this year. However, I would rather see Phil heath capture his first Olympia title.

I have a feeling that this year all of Phil, Jay, Dexter, Victor, Wolf & Kai will be at their best. If so, then it would be so hard for the judges to pick up the right winner!!

It is fact, when all of them are “ON” each one of them deserve to be crowned Mr. Olympia. I can understand that each one of us would prefer one over the others.

I would go with Phil Heath for the win but, he is NOT a Muscletech sponsor.

I never "lambasted" you, in fact quite the opposite I agreed with you and gave you props in a video with Lonnie a couple years ago.

You might recall a guy I predicted would win Jr. Nationals 4 years ago around this time.

Considering the political climate there would seem to be a lot of pressure not to give Vic the O. I really like Wolf. And I like that he poses in the more IronAge classical sense. I don't like all that hip-hop, robot man, dancing stuff.

Obviously having not seen anyone yet we won't know for sure until the athletes walk out BUT:

As of June 16, 2009 I predict:

1. Dexter to repeat - recent guest posing videos show his shape superior to EVERYONE

2. Victor - more time and focus will return to form

3. Phil - will no doubt improve yet again but not enough YET to claim the big one

4. Jay - heart of a warrior but doing enough to win is not what's needed - this great champion needs to be pissed off royally and deadly focused a la Yates 1993 or Coleman 2003

5. Kai - probably one of the hardest guys on stage, structural issues

6. Wolf - probably the best most muscular, lower back thickness?

7. Tony - needs to find balance between full and shredded

I think it will be AGAIN Jay, Phil and Dex for top 3. I still cant predict in which order though...

And Wolf doesn't have the best most muscular....no detail in delts, arms, CHEST striations. his pecs look like water bags.

Dennis Wolf will be lucky to crack the top 5 this year. No chance he'll be Mr. Olympia this year and anyone willing to wager I will gladly take your money.
