AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... When in doubt

It's the tabloid rule of reporting. Have 2 newspaper runs with a high profile guy on trial on the cover.
One run says "Innocent" emblazoned across his face while the other says "Guilty".
Stock newstand with both copies, ...and whichever cover sells the most papers, ...that's the angle they go with, ...truth be damned. It's about sellling papers. The challenge however when it's the politicians sending out mixed signals, is that the public assumes his policies and/or agenda is wise, since most people block out what they don't want to hear. They assume, s/he agrees with them and their particular views and will vote accordingly, ...when in reality, the politician is gonna do whatever his elite handlers instruct him to do, regardless of the will of the people. He can always create/invent a crisis to bring sheeple on board, ...no matter how half-assed and ship shod. The sheeple will buy it is their scared enough.
I don't even know why they bother putting forth campaign platforms anyway. It's not like people's votes count for anything when the vote machines are rigged.

Well that certainly explains why Bush would be all over the place with his Iraq War Policy but how do these aspects weigh with Mr. Intenseone's all wise rebuttal of, "go hug a tree" ;D I mean that's a strong argument :P
