No one followed him to or from the bathroom either at Prive. Otherwise, everyone who approached him seemed positive and respectful. He did have a small crew of friends but I wouldnt call them "bodyguards." Although Tyson is generally stupid, even he is smart enough to know not to actually get physical with any haters at the club or be sued. Imagine how many times haters egg him on, but if he ever responded physically it would be all over the news.

It has nothing to do with rubbing elbows. It's a fact. People will do anything to be able to sue anyone with money. Getting in a fight with Mike almost guarantees you will get something. Especially in the past. At the beginning of his career he didn't have that problem. When I met him (yes I am name dropping again) he came to the Forum boxing with one little guy. We partied at the after fight party Dr. Buss put on and had some good chit chat. Back then he seemed like a really nice and shy guy. Went his place at Chateau Marmont he shared with Don King to pickup a poster my uncle gave him of them together so he could sign it. Back then he was very different.

I was handcuffed to a bench in the Albany police department when Iron Mike came in for booking after they arrested him for driving 120 MPH in a 30 mph zone. This was like 10 years ago. They put him on suicide watch but his lawyers had him out less than 10 minutes after he walked in the door. When I saw him around 6 months ago he seemed very chilled and calm. I did not get the sense at all that he was the type of guy who would pick a fight. He really just seemed to want to be keep it low key and just blend in with everyone else.

Look at the Tua vs Lewis fight. Lewis ran from him a lot of the fight. Tyson was taller and a better fighter than Tua who just tried to KO Lewis all fight. Prime Tyson could have taken him then.

I saw him in boston about 10 years ago, he was much smaller in person than I had expected, but that seems to be the case with most famous people when you are used to just seeing them on screen. I still wouldn't want a piece of him though, the guy is an animal with a penchant for biting people. I remember reading about some motorcyclers that pissed him off some how and he was arrested for assaulting them, I remember one of them got a boot to the balls according to the article... so outside the ring I really don't think any sort of technique to try to maim you for life is out of the question, guy would probably skull fuck someone without a second thought.

Boxing itself is a fading sport. It loses popularity everyday, and rightfully so. There are no characters like Tyson any longer to intrigue a new audience.
