Guinness Book of World Records measured Greg Valentino's disgusting oil filled growths on one of their tv shows... 24.5''
Why can't people accept this?
-Arnold's arms weren't 22''. (19.5'' and 19.25'' according to Arthur Jones)
-Ronnie's arms were never 23''.
-most pros are somewhere in the 18 to 20'' range (many of them are 5'5'' to 5'9'')
...pro bodybuilders seem to think a "pumped" measurement means adding three inches.
The only reliable measurements we have to go on are those of bodybuilders known for their massive upper arms (and presumably less insecure):
-Vince Taylor... offseason: 240 lbs at 5'9''ish = 19.5''
-Lee Priest... offseason: 235 lbs at 5'5''ish = 21.5''
The difference in arm sizes is expressed as the ratio of two squares (it's a ratio of areas).
Therefore:
A 24'' arm would be (242/19.52) times bigger than Vince Taylors arm.
That's (242/19.52) = (576/380.25) = 1.51
...that's 51% bigger, or in layman's terms bigger than Vince Taylors arm by the same margin that Vince Taylor's arm is bigger than a 15.75'' arm.
Get real people.
