Why is this? I just don't get it. It's like when republicans vote republican always because that's what they do. Minorities seem to always vote liberal. Is it just an anti establishment thing? Where they think they don't get a fair shake and need the status quo changed?

I don't think that was the case back in the 70's with minorities. In the past the Republican party was very relatable to minorities with strong conservative family values.

I think something changed along the way, maybe it was the tea party that made minorities start believing that the Republican party was the white party.  I really don't know to be honest.

There were tea party rallies where 1 or 2 idiots had the N-word on their signs.

Now, typically, we'd just chalk that up to random idiots, the small .001% of people that are just stone cold racists.

BUT there were 2 problems here....
1st, at least one of the sign-holding racists was a state-level chairperson of the tea party, and
2nd, other people at that rally didn't break that sign and kick out the racist.

When they tolerate it, they endorse it.  That person should have been escorted the fck out for the racist shit... UNLESS those around him agree, which may be the case.

trump's #1 accomplishment was destroying the inevitable GOP frontrunner - Jeb!  (and scott walker 2nd)

Dude had 100 million bucks to spend.  Remember in the summer, when Bush as the frontrunner with a very popular Walker in 2nd?  Trump attacked them both, and walker is out of the race, and Jeb is down to 2-3%.

they are sheep cheerleaders that will get behind a RINO gungrabber, as quickly as they'll get behind a fiscal conservative?

They could get behind a financial stud like Walker as fast as they can get behind a clueless fibber like Carson.

They just want to wear that (R) badge and only see the GOP candidate as someone who will beat hilary/media, which they hate WAY more than they love their own party's ideals.

They support trump just as much as they do cruz or carson.  An 80% lukewarm support based upon hate for the left.   And as history shows, this half-ass, ill-informed approach to supporting candidates means they've lost 5 of 6 last popular votes in the POTUS election.

And forgetting what you want for a second... Do you think the Republican party will win the next election?  The country is much more liberal then it used to be and minorities are starting to become majorities and many of them lean towards the left.  Plus the new generation coming up have much stronger liberal beliefs.


I obviously tend to lean very left, but still for the life of me can't see how someone can be be 100% one side or the other, there are many times the other side may have an interesting perspective that I could agree with.
