 Fifty percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Wednesday morning say they support the president's plans, with 45 percent opposed.

The results indicate a generational divide.

"Obama's plan is most popular among younger Americans and least popular among senior citizens," CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said. "A majority of Americans over the age of 50 oppose Obama's plan; a majority of those under 50 support it."

In other studies more than 50% are opposed...but I saw that this AM too.

The vast majority of people want reform, but many don't like a government controlled option (and docs don't like the fact that judicial pre-screening, malpractice and tort reform have been dropped).

The government does a fabulous job with everything they handle.  Medicare, for example, has been the epitome of perfect since day one.  I can't think of a single complaint about anything the government has taken over. 


Calm down fuckers, I'm being facetious. 

I don't think anyone would want people to go without health care.  Hell, I'd love to see everyone in America have a quality health plan.  But this 5 figured page clusterfuck that no one seems to fully understand is not going to be the thing to give everyone quality health care.   
I tend to lean liberal on a number of issues, but I can't imagine how anyone could be sitting with baited breath at the thought of this shit sandwich being farted onto the American people at this point in time.
