Exactly what needs to be done and all govts should follow suit.

If you print - demonetise house debt and people.complain that a coffee is a luxury purchase.

If you don't print - debt overwhelms as jobs are lost and incomes are reduced. You lose your home and destroy your credit rating. Coffees however remain at today's prices.

I am friends with the manager at one of the Big City Diners in the area. They just recently opened up. I asked him how things are going. He told me that other than two cooks not one of his former employees have come back when he told them they were open again. With their unemployment check plus a weekly $600 from the Federal government, they make more being unemployed.

As Reagan said decades ago, that if you tax something you will get less of it. If you subsidize something you will get more of it. When you pay people not to work you are going to have less people willing to work.

Some people are getting $900 a week in unemployment.  It was increased because of covid but it has an expiration date that his coming soon.  I hope they don’t extend it. All these young adults have wallet full of cash living with Mom and plenty of time to riot.  You can’t riot if you have to go to work the next day.   Another factor is normal unemployment was extended to nearly two years by Obama.  Big mistake.

Since Trump has thrown out there will be a second give away Democrats are saying they want it bigger saying 5k to 6K to sound like Santa Claus.  It would cost this country 3 trillion it doesn't have. Print that kind of money with no backing can be a rocket ship  for runaway inflation. Want your next phone to cost 3K in two years?  $240 running shoes?  A 42K Camry? 

Republicans are pushing for the same amount of money.

I know the dems want a bigger check but the fact that trump says he wants a check I think is gonna make every turn against him and say no check so he looks like a liar and all people will remember come election time is he lied even though it’s not up to him.
