Could anyone please explain to me how the hell Gary Strydom could compete again in the IFBB ??

I suppose that there was also a round table discussion with the IFBB officials and Muscle Tech representatives at the Olympia hearing his case after deciding who is gonna win the Olympia like in Lee`s case this year. Correct ?

Why did this round table vote for Gary's return ? What was different ? Gary made more money than Lee, had a greater media exposure and thus caused more damage to the IFBB when competing in the WBF !

ALL the WBF defectors were allowed back in after awhile....with a fine.

The other factor was that none of the WBF guys bad-mouthed the IFBB and everyone attached to it...they had a great opportunity to make some REAL money and took it, got suspended as the rules go, and were eventually let back in.

Not quite sure where you see Muscletech in all of this, but hell...why not, add them in too!

When you are suspended (especially in this case, where the suspension was longer than the membership)...you aren't just let back in as you aren't a member any longer.

No different than any other member who sends in their renewel every year, it's not automatic that you are accepted.

ALL Lee had was an opportunity to have his case heard and APPLY for a IFBB card...he was turned down.

In 99.9% of the applications is just a matter of going through the motions and sending in your renewel fee....In Lee's case, they obviously felt like he was given a chance and turned it down...(which he did).

You have to be a us citizen to compete in npc, I don't think he is.

As far as his former pro status, it would depend on how the npc eligibility rules are worded.  Conveniently, they're not on npc's website.

2007, people knew there were enough people onstage that it could've went to anyone of the top ten.
I was disappointed with the 2007 results.  My first Olympia.  I love the whole weekend except the Cutler win.

Personally I think a lot of what he was saying was true about the IFBB.  Hell it's no more than what most of us on here say, but I also don't think they are under obligation to let him back into the IFBB either.

If I were Lee I would focus my energies elsewhere.
