FYI - the official story is that w small fires did what you see there.
Nothing else.

A recent Zogby poll says that 67% of Americans support a new 9/11 investigation because they think that building was brought down with explosives - like a 'controlled demolition'.

It's interesting.  What do you think?

I posted about this in the R&P section. It was surprising, to say the least. Maher was pissed.

240 and cohorts,

I thought this was settled in the previous thread wherein I addressed the inconsistencies in the physics underlying these conspiracy theories...

For the record, there have been some very serious in-depth investigations into this by European journalists and news agencies... Building 7 collapsed because it was spattered by flying rubble (some pieces the size of trucks) from the collapse of the Twin Towers, adding to this fires within the building weakened the structure (I think it was petrol/diesel powered generators burning). Fire brigades attending the emergency were unable to deliver water to the burning floors (about a hundred feet above street level) and didn't have ladders capable of going that high... hence the decision was made to let the building burn.

The only part of 9/11 that is still open to debate is who was responsible for the attacks... there seems to be some evidence hinting that perhaps Mossad or even members of the American Political/Industrial/Military Complex could have been behind the operation.

You won't hear American conspiracy nuts discussing this however... they simply don't know enough history (or geography for that matter). They don't understand the political/economic/historical/big-picture backdrop and they are too lazy to edumacate themselves.

Yeah...I really don't understand the major malfunction of conspiracy theorists.  Of alllllll the things this government could have done to justify going to war with Iraq, why would they elect to throw two passenger planes into our money capital without 100% tying Iraq with it?  It was Saudi terrorists on the planes, Osama Bin Laden masterminded it and now Al-Qaeda is our target but we chose Iraq to ship the tanks to.  Besides, an operation like that requires too many knowledgeable people and no one is coming forward to "confess."  I could go on, but I won't....

the point isn't that our government planned the attacks themselves

the idea is that our government simply ignored threats to serve their own agenda...if history has taught us anything, its that the government doesn't give two shits about the people as long as they get their way

PANDAEMONIUM,

Didn't know you were a gimmick! Who's are you?

The '..."his"...' dispersion on my gender (which isn't in doubt) would seem to indicate one of the so-called Squad, that would also explain the irrational hatred of me... especially seeing as most people on here enjoy the novelty of my adventuring.

So that, added to the 'dundgeons and dragons' reference, reminds me of the vitriol I invoked from Sarcasm/Squadfather's gimmicks when I outed him as being a disturbed 15-year-old shut-in. Sarcasm/Squadfather kept accusing me of being a Dungeons and Dragons player... as if that false allegation would would somehow cast dispersion on the character of someone who openly admits to monster and treasure hunting.

So I'm going to guess... Sarcasm/Squadfather.

But then again, the "parents'..." misuse of the apostrophe is practically diagnostic of Adam "True Adonis" Abeles... and then again Adonis did have access to the Sarcasm username (and holds a grudge like an non-medicated schizophrenic), so maybe it was him making Dundgeons and Dragons jibes pretending to be Sarcasm...

Hhmmm...

I'm going to change my guess to... Adonis, and that's my final answer Regis.

Sorry Adam, the "parents'..." gave it away... you can change your username, but you can't hide the stoopid.

Too bad 99% of Americans don't know shit about what they are talking about and are just jumping on a bandwagon. Public opinion means nothing in proving scientific facts, only the experts can really determine what happened and how.

I don't take it as seriously as taking on an alter ego...

By the way, you did spell it p-a-r-e-n-t-s followed by an apostrophe... no point trying to edit your way out of it Adonis... just accept that you haven't mastered genitive syntax... apostrophes are only used in conjunction with proper nouns.

Go back to your gravity suit.

Uh yeah, I know I did.  "parents'" is the proper form because it's the plural possessive ;)  Some of us are able to be educated AND have gainful employment, others of us (hi, Teh Luke!) have minimal education, are unemployed, and are forced to live in their parents' basement. ;)

Plural possessive... is that what they tell illiterate Urmericans who can't pronounce the word "genitive"?

For your information Adam, the apostrophe is NEVER used to denote possession with normal nouns... only with proper nouns (or to denote a contraction):

Adam's a retard... denotes "Adam is a retard" with the apostrophe replacing the missing 'I'

Adam's grammar primer is lost... denotes "The grammar primer OF/BELONGING TO Adam is lost".

Luke lives in his parent's basement... IS GRAMMATICALLY INCORRECT ("Parents" is not a proper noun)

Luke lives in his parents basement... IS GRAMMATICALLY SOUND

Luke lives in his parents' basement... IS JUST PLAIN RETARDED

...similarly...

Luke owns Adam's mind... IS GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT, as "Adam" is a proper noun... despite the fact that Adam himself is not considered a proper human being.

You continue to show your ignorance.  But hey, I'll go ahead and humor you.  The following, found on dictionary.com, was obtained after 5 seconds of googling:

http://dictionary.reference.com/help/faq/language/s24.html

The apostrophe is used when leaving out a letter or number in a contraction, e.g., can't, wouldn't. The apostrophe is used for omitted letters, e.g., rock 'n' roll, and for omitted numbers, such as the class of '72, the '20s. The apostrophe is used for plurals of letter abbreviations with periods and single letters, e.g., p's and q's; two A's and four B's. Plurals of multi-letter combinations and plurals of numerals end in s with no apostrophe, e.g., VIPs, 1000s. The possessive of singular nouns ending in s, including nouns ending in s, x, z, ch, or sh, is formed by adding 's, e.g., witness's affidavit. However, if the next word begins with s, then add only an apostrophe, e.g., witness' story. The possessive of singular nouns not ending in s is formed by adding 's, e.g., VIP's seat, baby's food. The apostrophe follows the s of a word with two sibilant sounds, e.g., Kansas', Moses'. The apostrophe is added for the possessive of a noun that is plural in form but singular in meaning, e.g., mathematics' formulas. The apostrophe follows the s for the possessive of plural nouns that end in s, e.g., girls' movies.  [GEE, Teh Luke, I guess the word "parents" qualifies here?] For the possessive of a plural noun that does not end in s, add 's, e.g., women's rights. For singular proper nouns, add only an apostrophe for the possessive, e.g., Achilles' heel. No apostrophe is used for personal pronouns, such as: hers, his, its, mine, ours, theirs, whose, your, yours. Indefinite pronouns require an apostrophe, e.g., one's lover. For other pronouns like another and others, follow the rule for singular and plural, e.g., another's and others. For joint possession, the 's is added to the word nearest the object of possession, e.g., Francis and Kucera's book. The apostrophe is not used in names of organizations unless actually part of the legal name. The apostrophe is not used in plurals of numerals or multiple-letter combinations.

P.S.  I'm neither TA nor Squadfather. ;)
