Same here, first time I saw it.

I remember Ken Shamrock and friends in the original, low quality UFC fights.

I used to rent the videos from the library for UFC 5,6,7, etc. 

They'd pit a sumo against a 160 pound blackbelt, etc.

And they all fought several times each night. 

You would have 8 fighters, then 4, then the 2 left in the final.  You'd have to win three fights IN THE SAME NIGHT to take the title.  It was awesome seeing guys with busted faces ENTERING a fight.  Then it was no-time limit I believe... they fought until somebody lost, period.  No rounds.

Anyone have links to those low budget early fights?  they were WAY better IMHO.

Keith Hackney vs. the Sumo black guy was awesome. Dan Severne and Don Fry were fukin scary men. Imagine bumping into either of those guys in a dark alley late at night, or one of them cuts you off in your car and you throw them the bird

yeah they were pulling hair and kicking in the groin, tapping out used to be ignored by the referee, even a knock out, referee just stood there and allowed it to get punched further

Rampage dont need to be KO´d like that again.
He may never recover this time.
Give Rampage cans like Houston and Forrest.

A. Silva didn't do well in pride,  He didn't fare well against Japanese grapplers, His most notable win in pride was against Carlos Newton.   Anderson didn't hit his stride until his Cage Rage days.  Some greats fights in that org is what got him into the UFC.

Wanderlei was way past his prime dude.  He was washed up a long time ago.  We all saw what happened the 2 times rampage fought a prime wandy.

wanderlei  was a shell of him self the 3rd time he faced rampage ( cro cop + hendo+ roid testing= hazbin wandy)
