Not to sound like a prick but cry me a frickin river. I know white people who still pay for their own college and aren't rich and did not go to private schools. Poorer black kids could give a shit about their education because the homies don't respect intelligence. In state tuition for most states makes it easier to go to school. Take out a friggin loan and then when you get a job, pay it back. You speak as though only blacks have trouble with money and going to college.
It's easier for a white man to get a loan than a black man. Fair or not they can always find a bad debt when they dig and sometimes that's all it takes. A well dressed articulate white man can get around this allot easier.
What I meant to say is that blacks have the chances, but most would rather just hang out and not go through the trouble of chasing the $$ available for education. My state is small and the richest town is only 20 minutes from the poorest ghetto in the state. Drive through Broad St and you see kids who should be working on getting an education but would rather hang with the hommies. White kids practically have college shoved down their throats, in the richer towns. Blacks just have to get off their asses to get what's out their, but most won't and that goes down from generation to generation. Granted some pull themself's up and make it, but the jails and well fair rolls are full of the others who would rather chill and do as little as possible.
I was a state cop for 2 years before I was injured on the job. Back than the base salary was 78k. Now it's 90K and that's not counting overtime, benefits, uniforms a car and many other percs. We needed to federally fill possessions with minorities. When hardly any could even pass the intelligence exam, the standards had to be lowered and that means dumber cops. Many of the guys were pissed at this, but when you must have 20% minorities or the dept looses hundreds of thousands in federal funds you gotta drop the standards. This is reverse discrimination and that's as bad as the opposite. Sometimes the white guy gets the short end of the stick.
