I can't quite muster any outrage here. We weren't doing anything constructive with our embargo and it wasn't working. The primary reason it stayed in place was for a Florida Cuban constituency who used to vote Republican, but has been trending Democrat for a while. So, now the Democrats fucked them.

Joke.  Some of the Europeans I've met there are amongst the most pompous people I've ever met.  Others were awesome though, so it's kinda hit or miss.  Either way, Cuba is a very beautiful country.

Really??  Where are you going in Cuba?  I've been through of the country and have travelled there many times, and don't recall once getting accosted for money (although many will try to sell handmade items). They never ask, but will accept handouts,  and always with a smile and a thank you.  They are very grateful for every gift they receive.  We're not all cheap fcuks like you.  I usually put aside $500 and a suitcase full of general goods (i.e. toiletries, tshirts, gum, etc) to give away to resort staff and locals and the gratitude is quite overwhelming.

If it were only as simple as that. 1. As far as foreign policy (as with everything else) obama has failed, lied and put the blame on others.

2. obama has kissed the ass and bowed to dictators and terrorists and have received NOTHING in return. This will be no different. They laugh at him.

3. It wasn't too long that Cuba was caught transporting heavy arms thought the Panama Canal for delivery to Russia and China. They hate us. Now all of the sudden their going to play nice?
