Telling him to quite when he has torn muscles IS the correct advices! Encouraging him will mean that it helps egg on the delusion that his torn muscles have no bearing on his overall health. And thus, he will eventually get hurt. We are actually looking out for his best interests. Just like how ronnie needs to stop guestposing, Wong needs to stop competing. Someone needs to tell the person the honest truth about things. And not continue the delusional path of encouragement, when it may result in detrimental results to his health.

Jon, shoot for at least 2g of protein per lb of bodyweight. Bodybuilders need more protein requirement because it is the building block of muscles. As far as diet is concerned, it depends on your body type. Im an ectomorph/mesomorph, so, 40/40/20 is good for me to gain quality mass. :D
