And yet here we have another thread where shitzo has disrupted the conversation with his crap.

The only "king" he is the king of:

King of faking his own death.
King of sucking off a dude to get attention on a message board.
King of getting one of the biggest ownings ever by Goodrum.

He's very lonely. Visits a chat forum based on something he has no background or interest in to seek human connection. And still manages to be hated.

Its just a huuuge drinking session for people here, parades and all day drinking. Good atmosphere in Galway and Dublin city centres for it as due to all normal people drinking on the streets the winos and scum stay away. Some of my friends for example are off the partying now since new years until 'paddys day'.
Just a national holiday to celebrate the patron Saint of Ireland whose biggest claim to fame is ridding Ireland of snakes. Nothing to do with the cold here of course.
Man I will never meltdown, I don't want to cause any meltdowns either, just read interesting or funny posts and contribute when I can

Quality post.....Ireland is always such a great place to visit. Beautiful red haired women with the most exquisite white skin!

Please tell us that room is in your mom's basement and it's hooked up to a PSP 8)

Haha, in the interests of entertainment, let's have an episode of Rocket

Prepare yourself brother, you were almost right.  It LOOKS the part.

Let's go over the violations (let's face it, the entire room is a violation)

Queen bed that is actually just mattress on 2 single mattresses
Gigantic fucking television with Wii U / raspberry pi connected to it
The ah "bachelor man's wardrobe" (aka the floor)
"Curtain" is a queen bed cover hanging on the antit heft, prison style bars

And perhaps the worst violation:
The house actually has 3 perfectly functional completely empty bedrooms, yet I choose to bed down in the room that looks like a fucking prison because it backs onto the double garage that I carpeted.

This house is on million dollar land (not my land, mind), but is most definitely getting bulldozed, one day.

Am more concerned with the precarious stacking of the Glenlivet (Glenmorangie?) boxes then the shelves themselves.

To be sure.  I thought we were a Glenfiddich board.

But I have 2 sets of those fucking shelves.  Took them with me fully put together when I moved.  Because dismantling and re-mantling means dealing with entire handfulls of the chineseiest little 1/4" bolts and square nuts.  I remember swearing I'd never buy another.  They are shelves for people with nothing better to do with their afternoon than swear.

Glenlivet.. all empty.  I went through a scotch phase last year.  Used to drink about a 20mls a day after dinner.

That tv is like 140cm wide.. I had nothing to put it on, but I did have a lot of $9 ikea tables lying around :)

Now that I'm making more money, I'm now clearing out my home from all of the cheap shit I bought while I was in Sylva.  However, I'm trying to decide between an ultra-modern look or a good old Southern  furnishing.  I've already done the kitchen and dining room so I have the living room and bedroom left.

Any ideas Getbiggers???

Congrats on the financial success!!  I like a good modern look, but there's a great quality to a Southwestern style home....not the Southern you noted mind you.

I sympathize with that.  A ziploc freezer bag is all you can do to not lose these during breakdown/reassembly, but I swear they evaporate somehow.

I just noticed the odd guitars from the compulsory failed band experiment in the garage.
Keeps them nearby because, one day we might get the band together again and go on tour LOL.

Congratulations on your new child!

You said re-decorating the crib, how did you decorate it the first time?

Don't go for a particular look. Mix it up by picking furnishings that reflect your personal taste. Do this and the décor will not only be in style, it will never go out of style, plus it will reflect you. More is less. People tend to over decorate. Pick the best quality furnishings you can afford. You don't need to buy everything you want at once. Choose large pieces of furniture which are color neutral. This way you can change the décor up with accessories and varying color schemes.

Looks great - were you tempted to go with grey cabinetry at all?

i would have the bedroom with as little stuff as possible. just very clean, minimalistic, a place to recover and sleep, no tv. make sure it can get real dark.

This is really good advice.

Vince, I sincerely wish you well and hope you're new home becomes a cozy place for you.
I can't know what emotional turmoil you dealt with in regards to your sexuality.
All the best in your efforts to help make get big better in 2017.
Howard

Howard, that was not Vince, but King Shizzo who said he came to terms with his sexuality. Vince was quoting him.

How do you keep all the cabinets and draws from opening and everything falling on the floor?
