Great thread the other day about his final days.
Anyone have any stories about his psychotic amphetamine delusions/actions or just weird stories about him in general?
I've heard for years he was crazy but haven't heard specifics.

yea i saw them once at golds gym and they were arguing with a guy over a parking space, the brothers back off when the dude got in what they call a Karate Stance

I don't take kindly to disrespect. not on the internet, not in person, not in a grocery store parking lot, not in like at walmart, not in a restaurant, not at the beach, not at the dry cleaners... anywhere.
ppl talk about the 'pussyfication' of America, yet they run their mouths thinking they won't get slapped and get their arm broken in front of their friends.
spent many yrs in a place where if you talk slick and say something out of line to somebody, you know that when you say it, you better be ready for what happens. most ppl here in the 'real world', aren't ready for what could happen.. and run their mouths like the world is a make believe cartoon. despite wearing nice slacks, polished shoes and a nice shirt, the guy you steal that parking spot from at the grocery store and proceed to flip off, may have just gotten out of prison and will have no problem identifying they bitch in you and proceed to teach you a lesson by taking you down to the ground and kicking out your teeth before you even know what happened.
the guy who's willing to go the furthest, wins. if you're not willing to go all the way, it's best you keep your mouth shut and move on, and make it to the next day.

I've said it before on here, I only saw Mike Mentzer once back in early 1990's at Gold's Venice (he was doing personal training) I talked with him briefly about the 1980 Mr. Olympia, etc... and how when I first started lifting in my teens I used to follow his routines in Muscle Builder/Muscle and Fitness. He asked me if I liked to SMOKE, and then lit up a cigarette outside!!!
I didn't say anything (or even REACT as I didn't want to show my shock...), just chatted a while and he got in his white car and drove off...
TRUE STORY, told it before on here!
P.S. See his Mike Mentzer HIT videos on YouTube and he's smoking on breaks there!

Funny thing is that he didn't seem MANIC whatsoever, just talked about something then did it... no outward sign of stress/indecisiveness!

Yes, quite the character muntzer. Reckless enough to take enough orals to turn parts of his liver to gaping cysts with a styrofoam consistency. Reckless enough to inject EPO while using intravenous diuretics and a slew of anabolics. His blood while in contest mode must have been as thick as crude oil. Makes me ill to think of his toxic blood oozing through his cerebrovascular system.
Akin to suicide.
