Let's say you are 20-30 years old. Someone offers you 50 million dollars, but tells you that you will die a horrific death at 60. The other option is to live a middle-class life, and die peacefully when you are 80. What would you choose?

I dont know Shiz, death scares the shit out of me. Always has, even as a kid. You know when you fall asleep and it's just nothing. You dont know you're sleeping, there's no inner monologue. You fall asleep then boom, you wake up. Yeah sometimes you dream but that's not what I'm refering to, it's the other nights where it's just black. I picture death that way, black and nothing. So yeah 50 million is allot but at 30yrs old, another 30yrs will pass in a blink of an eye. I will take the middleclass life homie

Fuck that , I take 80 and middle class over 60 and dead/rich. People are healthier now, and 60 isn't that bad now. Plus, you'd want to see you grand kids.

At the moment we may all take the cash purely because we may think 60 is so far away... but I bet you at 59 you may wish you never did... because you could have another 20-30 years of fun!
I know people in their 60s that still have a great time and do shit they never did when they were younger!

horrific death has to be something pretty nasty im thinkin, like being in the desert dying of thirst and having vultures picking your body a part while your laying in the sand, im pretty sure that would be horrific, to me it would be anyway

This. My parents say this is the most fun they've had, in their 60's. They do what they want and have no other obligations. Personally, death scares me, and I plan on riding this thing out as long as I can.

Some good answers. The horrific death would be anything slow and painful. Is it worth having a ton of money for 30 years of your prime? Would it be the peace of mind that you would live to a nice old age, and die peacefully in your sleep? Lambo vs. Ford? Mansion vs. 200,000 house? Endless women vs. one wife?

besides, life from 60-80isnt all that, its that time where you cant even have sex anymore, no hot woman in the world wants anything to do with you and you randomly shit and pee yourself without knowing.

Take the pain out of the equation and ask if you could be ritch and die peacefully, my answere is still no. I would rather die at 80 cause 60 is still good times and you want to be able to know that your kids are well into the right path before you pass away, nothing is more important then that
