Shawn Ray, Dan Soloman, Bob Chicerello and King Kamali have rented a mini-van and have set off on the trail of Titus and Kelly. Soloman has radio transmitter and is broadcasting the "Search for the Killers" live on his website. (THE REAL TRUTH AND JUST THE FACTS!!)
Shawn's plan is too catch up with them in Mexico and talk them into surrendering to authorities. Soloman and Chic are providing live radio commentary. Kamali is along just in case there is any trouble.
FIRST FLASH REPORT -- upon reaching the Mexican border ... Shawn got hungy and wanted to eat at Dennys. But Chick wanted to eat at BK's. They got into a big argument. Apparantly they are now back in the van and are crossing the border.

The "Search for the Killers" tour update.
When we last left our heroes they had crossed the border into Mexico and were on the trail of Titus and Kelly. Shawn Ray, Dan Salamander, Bob Chikerello and King Kamali. Our intrepid reporters ("We Report, You Decide") from Bodybuilding Pro Weekly radio were covering the action .....
Stopping at El Jacinto, 4 hours south of the Border, Shawn Ray suggested they change into Mexican wardrobe to blend in better. King got the biggest sombrero.
2 hours later, and now in disquise, they got a tip that Titus and Kelly had come through the tiny Mexican town of Guadabajarra.
By nightfall, however, the trail turned cold and our heroes had pulled off the road, started a campfire, were toasting marshmwellows and telling ghost stories. The whole thing can be heard live via satelite on Bodybuilding Pro Weekly!!!!

The bodybuilding couple wanted in connection with a Las Vegas murder have been captured. Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan were arrested today in Canton, Massachusetts which is near Boston. They will be held until an extradition hearing which is likely to be held next week. Watch News 3 at 4 for the very latest.

With all that I've read recently, I have to agree...no hard facts, except someone is dead. Steroid reprecussions may be close, so don't look for support from colleagues- because we will only make you look worst. Go with the flow of media & throw him under the bus- I'll drive.

Meanwhile (and far more interesting ...) back in Mexico ...
Shawn Ray, convinced he could bring Titus and Kelly to justice (or at least get the book and film rights), was leading an expedition in search of the alleged Vegas killers.
With journalists Dan Salomon and Bob Chicherillo providing live commentary via cellphone on PRO BODYBUILDING WEEKLY LIVE, and with King Kamali along as tough guy/bodyguard ... our heros moved further into Mexico.
In the morning, they stopped at a well to drink. There they met an old gringo. The gringo said a big slopply white guy with a bad sunburn and a bikini clad chic were on horseback armed with two shotguns, having abandoned their car when it ran out of gas. He said they rode up into the mountains to link up with the local banditos (and gear dealers) Jose Nubain Contreres -- the Contreras Gang! (www.contrersasgang.com).
Shawn said they must follow on foot. Dan said he was afraid of rattlesnakes. Bob said he'd do it but only if they went back to get some NO-XPLODE as he was looking depleted. King was happy under his big sombrero.

Is this the most Craig and Kelly have been talked about lately? What they do to keep thier names in the news. Has anyone talked this much about Craig and Kelly in the last 5 years, is this a publicity stunt.

The show was very well done on the radio. Yes, the people on the boards know a lot about Craig & Kelly, but there are many others who don't follow every thread on Getbig. It was exciting, and many of us were wondering what was going to be said, especially since the FBI has just caught them as you guys were speaking.
It will probably one of the most listened shows in the upcoming weeks...

meanwhile, on the cold trail ..... in Mexico .... a long, long way, from Massachusetts:
Shawn Ray came down from the mountain, 12 hours south of the border, having met the bandito Contreras and some guy named Bin Laden, but with no news of Titus and Kelly from the banditos who lived up in the caves. Dan "Caffienated" Salamander broke the news to Shawn that the two muscle and fitness fugitives from justice had been captured back in the USA. Shawn was deflated -- he had secretly been hoping to talk Titus into giving him the book and film rights.
So the search party heros of Shawn Ray, Dan Soloman, Bob Chikerello and King Kamali (resplendent in his Mexican sombrero) jumped back in the van and headed for home.
With not much to talk about there, Soloman interviewed Chikerello about his favorite movies on PRO BODYBUILDING WEEKLY LIVE FROM THE SEARCH FOR MUSCLE AND FITNESS FUGITIVES IN MEXICO !!
King kept his mouth shut for most of the trip into the Mexican highlands, perhaps contemplating what misfortune might come his way someday, knowing just how much like Titus he really is.

Gosh damn.....I remember awhile ago, Craig had on his website that you can train with him and his wife. it was like a package deal, I think it was like over $400-500 or something. They would personally pick you up at the airport and drive you to their house where you could stay in their guestroom and later train with them and they would give you advice about nutrition and getting into the bodybuilding and fitness scene. And it even included meals provided by them as well. I think the package deal consisted of staying 3-4 days with them.
Im telling you...it could have been any of us on this board that could have became the victim if we signed up for that offer they were doing and became friends with them . Ive been thinking about this a lot.
I feel really bad for Kelly Ryan and Craig Titus. We have lost 2 great representatives of the sport we love...
I also feel bad for the victim as well. Moreso for Kelly Ryan and the victim that they will never or posibbly ever get a chance to bare children....

That's only because you're trying to make money off of it. I suggest you plug in "Craig Titus" at google news and see how many stories you get. The news has had a week to make stories up about this murder and what has happened. Google news turned up two results. Maybe this will make tabloid news, but nothing else. People who use drugs are murdered everyday in America. People couldn't careless. Sad, but true.
How many stories have there been about the Sopranos actor who allegedly killed a police officer? That hardly made the news. You think this will? If so, it's only because some people want to try and make it a bigger news story then it actually is. And those people are involved in the "sport" of bodybuilding. If the BB subculture wants to distance themselves from steroids and this story, don't go on national television!
This story will die a silent death then. But of course you can't make a name for yourself and use the coverage to further your own career.

The problem about this case that will preventit from getting the real exposure like other cases is the amount of time spent on the case. It was relatively quick. The girl wasn't missing long. She was identified quickly. The culprits were apprehended quickly. There was no long drawn out mystery. There was no shoot out, or car chase. It was relatively a boring murder. Even though that sound bad cause there was a murder, it didn't have the intrique like other murders. The one thing it did have it that it included a couple of semi-celebrities. The only thing about that is that they are celebrities in an industry most media doesn't report on or care about. Did it make it on ESPN?
ANd I find it funny that Chic was the person who got on TV to speak as an almost expert and gave his opinions on the incident when he clearly knew nothing about it or what Craig and Kelly have been doing in BB for the past year. That was a little embarrassing but only to people within the industry.

You're a nut. When did Rita spend 11 minutes talking about this every night? She talked last nite about it for 2.5 minutes. Why isn't this on gossipy FOX? Or CourtTV? Have they rejected your calls? I don't even see this on the CNN crawl at the bottom. But then again, CNN isn't Rita Crosby. I hope you're trying to get this on Nancy Grace. Oh wait, this doesn't involve a child, therefore Nancy can't exploit the situation like you are trying to due. I suggest you call Craig and tell him to pin it on Kelly, then call Kelly and tell her that you just spoke to CT and he's trying to pin it on you/KR. Maybe that will help you get more coverage.

Bob looked good and handled himself well. He's a good 'face man' for the industry (which is why he has as many endorsement deals as he does).
Other than that, you're right, though - because the 'manhunt' ended so quickly and so uneventfully, there's not a lot here for the media types to sink their teeth into. As of right now, it's doubtful that this story will make it to "City Confidential" or anything like that. Maybe if a lot more deep, dark stuff comes to light, that'll happen, but right now, their best hope is an extended trial where reasonable doubt gets plastered all over the place.

I don't know if English is your first language, but if it is, then you should know that there's a difference between "substantial" and "sustainable", which is what we were talking about before your arrival.
The point is, this industry generates a lot of money and the smart individuals are the ones who are getting a share of the pie. In the context of this conversation, it's not my place to talk about what others are earning.
