I've seen it discussed here at getbig and hear more and more people talking about it.  Posse Comitatus is dead - we all know that.  We know guns were confiscated during Hurricanes Katrina and Ike.  We've seen Alex Jones' documentary and other clips on youtube.  We know the Army Times has reported that a military brigade will be on active duty in the US on Oct. 1st to "quell dissent and civil unrest."

Do you believe this is possible?  Do you think this will happen if the economy goes bust?

And this is what I'm afraid of.  The American people done believe this is possible because their bluff has never been called.  No one will believe this is possible until it actually happens.

It might be arguing that we are getting exactly what we deserve.  We did displace and kill MILLIONS of native Americans; a dirty little secret no one likes to talk about.  The casualties of the Indian wars were hugely under-reported.

And I don't think we should be concerned about specific groups of people as much as we should about the ruling power elite.  They aren't very fond of we serfs.

You'll find that many glorified breakthroughs of society are actually contrived for a much different purpose.  Women's Lib?  A way to destroy the family bond and tax another half of the population. 

There are countless instances where something is sold to the public for a noble cause but it actually used to subvert and further the reigns of control of the elite.
