Approximately 500,000 people left the work force this past month because they stopped looking for jobs, 150,000 new jobs is the normal break even point for the month. So 96,000 estimated new jobs puts Carter2.0 about 554,000 jobs in the hole for the month.

  It is also being reported that unemployment figures are down because fewer people are bothering to look for jobs. But never mind that. The governments methods of accounting for the "unemployment figure" are misleading at best as they ARE NOT the actual unemployment number.
