Post by: mwkcronin on May 16, 2007, 05:29:46 AM: No, he has to train his legs properly, and lighten the weights regarding squats and leg presses etc. As is always mentioned on this sight, and proof is in the videos, you can't have have half the gym lifting the weights while you squat 3 inches down. DOES NOT WORK, and even though King claims he has lightened the weights, there needs to be serious assessment from a good trainer in order to get back in the game.

Problem is that there are also a number of new BB's on the scene that just look better than King. He has regrouped as was mentioned by him, but still needs to really train like a BB, and not a powerlifer.

if i were him i would look into promoting the sport rather than competing in it

Kamali knew early on he didn't have the physique or genetics to make it through his body alone so he used his mouth and GH fingers to make a name for himself. You have to say..it worked.. as here we are making threads and discussing a third-tier bodybuilder who came 10th.

You're wrong. Kamali actually believed in the early years he would be Mr. O. The entertainment value has been in watching that delusion get destroyed, bit by bit.

You're right in that the whole deal has worked out for him, but you're wrong in saying it's by design. The Klown isn't anywhere near that smart.

I think thesedays he probably knows that the only way to continue in bodybuilding is to make outrageous, silly claims just before any comp he's going to in. That way, atleast people will be talking about him.
