That seems like a reasonable thing to do. When caught you don't flee the premises but lock yourself in the home owner's bathroom. I'm sure this happens all the time.

And, of course, Oscar did the reasonable thing. Didn't ask for the person to identify and explain himself. Didn't hold him hostage as he or his gf (whom he claims was in his bed while he went after the robber) calls the police. He just starts blasting away through the door.

What I don't understand is the reaction of the victim's parents. They seem satisfied with the decision.
