This show was brought up before, but it is probably the best comic to small screen transition that I have seen. The show is solid, funny, quirky and geeky. It blows Gotham out of the water, but then again that isn't hard to do. The hebrew girl is a complete 10. I like the storyline being true to the comic but not campy at all. I find it more interesting that most of the Marvel movies including the avengers. For a TV show they haven't cut too many corners when it comes to FX. Every week is like a mini movies. If you haven't seen it, give it a shot.

Would there be an outcry if they made Cyborg a white guy? Maybe Black Panther a white dude who thinks he's black like Rachel Dolezel?

While I agree that they don't need a Black Wally West, it does make sense, since Iris and her dad are both black in the show. It just fits considering.
However, why are you upset at Firestorm being black? He's been black in the comics for a little over 10 years now.

Haven't had a chance to watch The Flash yet. IMO, Gotham is a great show. Some really good acting in that series.

Hey Wes...I'm not in any way acusing you of racism....I've never seen any indication of that from you....what I'm saying is that in this day and age, comic characters must be more diverse...its a question of MONEY as always....they need minorities to watch so as to increase ratings.....what better way than tio make some of the characters black.....
Also again understand that characters were white ON PURPOSE in comics....How can 99% of the characters and heroes in comics be WHITE???...that simply doesn't reflect reality......Also why does it matter SO MUCH what the color of the character is???...just enjoy the show or comic

I don't think he's ever been black. They used the "Ultimate Spiderman" universe version, which creates an even bigger group of issues when it comes to understanding characters.
They just recently merged the "Ultimate" universe with the standard Marvel Universe... It's kind of cloudy right now.

Artwork is terrible,plots are dark and dreary and the character development sucks.
I collect older comics from the 40`s to the early to mid 90`s when they were great not just mediocre.

There are very few comics that I consider "great" right now.
It's the companies though... They don't know how to make interesting stories, so it's all the same let's blow up our entire universe thing over and over again.

Gone are the family values of old and is instead replaced with things like replacing old characters in media with burrheads / other coloreds / women (which is just in line with the current PC-agenda), utilizing the colored racial quota (be it in employment or education) as well as promoting interracial relations.

Tuned into one episode, never again, embarassing acting and fx. The one i saw, flash was running out to sea to dispose of a bomb if i remember rightly, the acting of people trying to look concerned was cringeworthy. Kids stuff at best.
