He has a fundamental disagreement with the meaning of the Bill of rights and Constitution. If you had a clue about the concept of so called "positive rights" you would understand what I am talking about.
Do some research on this and get back to me.

In sum, Obama's biggest gripe with the constitution is that it does not set out what the Govt must do for citizens. This means that the govt. does not spell out and mandate things like health care, home ownership, etc for people.
The Bill of Rights and Constutition was set up as a check and restraint of what the Govt. CAN'T do to its citizens. I.E. free speech, guns, search and seizure.
Its a fundamental difference in how one views the role of govt.

It's good that Bush was such a defender of the constitution.... ::)
-
You cant blame Bush anymore. This has nothing to do with Bush.
Obama campaigned against Bush, not McCain, and won.
Now he is in the hot seat.

Show me where he went against it. In 4 months Obama has desecrated almost everything the Constitution is about......on purpose mind you.
This REAL Constitutional Lawyer talks about it daily. I know you probably won't like it, but have a listen anyway...............

Nope, when Obama overtured almost everything Bush set, it automatically became Obamas baby, the war included. Bush is a moot point at this stage.

His legacy remains: Iraq, Afghanistan, debt, violation of civil liberties...all being continued by Obama; it just annoys me how rightwingers like Coach slam Obama for the EXACT same shit Bush did. Hypocrisy pure.

What violation of civil liberties?
I already mentioned the Patriot Act.
Nevermind going to war despite a majority of the country being against it...

Shouldn't amtter where he taught it...THE LAW IS THE LAW...sadly only the little people are subject to the law while the REAL SCUMBAGS use it to walk away SCOTT FREE regardless of their crimes..... I am waiting for someone to challenge him on constitutional law just to hear what he has to say...Do you think he will sound like a constitutional law expert or will it be another "reading of the monitor" type discussion...
-
What violation of civil liberties?
Yeah...anybody feel violated.....
-
If people are waiting or depending on the government to take care of them from cradle to grave the future generations will be in for a shit life having to pay for it all.

I am not discussing the others, which of course I agree with you.
However, the congress is most to blame for completely abrogating its own responsiblities.
