One of the funniest things about the Simpsons is Homer's facial expressions. Like the episode where he's following Edgar Allan Poe's birthplace in transit, the look on his face before he rams it off the road is hilarious.

I remember when I first seen the Simpsons on the Tracey Ullman Show where they all started. Very crude compared to today but loved them back then.

When Homer's basically responsible for Maud's death so Ned tries to wake Homer up that night as he can't sleep by throwing stones at his window and Homer's like "ah so you want a rock fight ay?!" as he picks up that huge can full of rocks with Ned's name on lol.
