getitonny, what's your company called?

also, whoever said muscletech's worth a couple billion, you might want to recheck your numbers.

Generally supplement type companies are worth three times there annual sales.  TWINLAB, VPX and MUSCLETECH are worth a lot of cash.  Hundreds of millions.

are you saying the product is 100% whey ? not 99% filler ?

I have no idea I was just making a statement.

Adonis I agree with you a lot of the time.....sometimes not so much.  You're right about Polumbo's company (the actual research is done by someone else), but the larger supplement companies have sales in the tens of millions - hundreds of millions and they defiantly have staffed labs on-site or remote faculties where actual chemists work on products.

Isn't there only a few labs in the USA that manufacturer many of the products and they private label them out to the other companies.  How many major compnaies have their own labs that do everything.

I know for a fact two of the biggest sup companies have a staff of chemists who create products they then outsource and refine.

No, I personally think Species might be a good product, so we are looking into the product line on the West Coast.   No way will they put in their ingredients nor items that are not on the label.

what criteria are you basing your judgment on?

I don't 'hate on' Palumbo but i am just very cautious of him.

Afterall, his criminal record and associations are enough to raise eyebrows.

I would like to see a full FDA investigation into his company!

Something is rotten here and it needs investigating!

I agree, but they have put this on their main page so it's the first thing you see, making it seem like a huge deal.
From a person 1000 is alot, from a supplement company it's nothing, a company like hmuscletech Huscletech as atleast a couple of billions networth.

fixed  ;D

I think the FDA would be very interested in Palumbo....Afterall, look at his history.

At the end of the day the consumer has the right to be protected.

One of the manufacturers of their protein is a client of mine.  I can tell you that they are ordering over $100k/month in product...
100K off of protein alone, they are making a killing.

Do you think once people discover how and where to buy Whey direct, that the house of cards will crumble?   I know first hand how easy it is to get this stuff DIRT CHEAP and direct and I suspect if others do the same, that essentially will cut out the middle man.

why not make a comparison shopping site that shows direct sources and put a few google ads in and make some money off the traffic and let the public benefit from your insight.

Also you would crush the snake oil salesmen.

  • Kevin Levrone is the genetic ideal.
Many companies do not make their own products. It fact, 90% of them do not.  They have their own formulations, their own labeling, their own style, their own ingredients, and they decide which manufacturer to make them.

We may even bring in Species....

It's called CONTRACT MANUFACTURING.

Some great work done in the last few days by the Adonis and Danielson exposing some of the crooked shenanigans going on in the expensive fart powder supplement business. 50 bucks for a handful of discarded remnants of the cheese making process, this stuff used to be fed to pigs for nothing and now we have ex-cons peddling it and dressing it up as something special by sticking it in a fancy tub ::)

Thank you Deadly Dan and Articulate Adam. Hopefully you saved a few bros a few bucks in this troubled economic time.

Palumbo is a great stealer of ideas.  Yes, he claims all this is his own making .hahahahha.

Palumbo even claims the 'keto diet' to be his own making!

I call for a full inquiry into the business practices and protocols of this former felon.

Blechman obviously saw this coming!

Holy Macrel I agree with you!  Tried to steal our idea for Muscle Mafia.  So instead he came up with Muscle Mob.

Palumbo is surely a person of interest to the FDA!

Yes, Palumbo is the great plagiarist.  I know Keith, he doesn't have an original idea in his head.  He also stole the Keto diet and renamed it the Palumbo diet.

I just hope he gets his own back....it will come....one day!
