Modern BB= sad state of affairs. These are the kinda pics that initially lit the fire for me. It actually looks attainable without a hormone buffet. Thanks insulin

imo it has gradually declined from an aestethic point of view, but somewhere in the 2000's something foul happened. no good physiques, no sym, no proportion, no chests, no conditioning and all guts everywhere

The bodybuilders of today the muscles don't even look real. They look like they are pumped up fluid that will drain the day they stop taking drugs. The guys in the top picture have it all over todays "champs".

They are true Bodybuilding Physiques. Yes growth is very good at what it does, but this picture is what says bodybuild

They had access to knowledgeable sport physicians who directed their cycles and so everything they used came from a major pharmaceutical company. With controlled dosing so they didn't hurt themselves.

With the "steroid control act" no physician can do this without endangering their license.
