Do you have any idea what kind of drug the doc used?

You can try out the anti-estrogen drug as what you suggested, nolvadex which is an SERM (selective estrogen receptor modulator) that specifically targets estrogen receptors within the breast tissue. Try out at a small dose of 10mg a day to see how you react to it and if it helps reduce the gyno symptoms.

I personally wouldnt go over 40mg a day as it reduces IGF levels in your body, according to the profile of the drug on most sites. Furthermore, it can help you save $$ if you maintain it at an acceptable but yet effective level of 10-30mg of nolva a day.  ;)

First off, I am a lifelong natural.  I don't use any drugs.  Here is the story though.  I did my first bodybuilding show back in april of this year.  I got really sick the week before the show and went to the doctors.  The doctor gave me a steroid shot and antibiotics.  I felt fine in a matter of a couple days and the show went great.

The PROBLEM is...I now have a slight case of gyno.  There is no tenderness or soreness, and its not out of control, but it still looks noticeable.  It's been like this since april, and i dont know what to do.

Is there anyway to get rid of it???  I have heard taking nolvadex may help, but would it help in my situation?? or does it only work if you catch it early enough???  Can someone please give me some serious advice on this???

There is no way your doc gave you anabolic steroids for being sick?? Unless maybe this is some kind of long term sickness you are under treatment for?  One shot of juice would not give you gyno, you could just have it from puberty.

Please call doc and give us the name of the drug the doc gave you....Im guessing it was anti-inflamatory steroids....such as prednizone.

Since this was your first show maybe you have never been lean enough to notice it before. when you get gyno it takes a while to build and you will KNOW you have it. very itchy nipples and tender to the slightest touch. the preacher curl bench would be your worst enemy.

thanks, is Tamoxifen Citrate pretty much the same thing.  i see it on sale as a generic form of nolvadex.  how 'long' should i take the Tamoxifen Citrate?  just until the gyno is gone, or do you have to continue to take it even after it is gone?  of course it may not go away at all....but im hoping there is something i can take to get rid of it.

Yes Tamoxifen is generic nolvadex.
Myself, 1st I'd look if that drug is still in my system and how long it will remain.
Deca would hang around 2-3 weeks After the shot, I'd personaly take 20mgs ed for 2 weeks longer than the steroid
lasted in my system..

But-Deca is not BTW supposed to convert to estrogen and therefore not cause Gyno. It can I believe thru conversion to
progesterone, but unlikely. Are you sure it's just not water retention and body fat? Did it HURT or Itch or tingle etc?
Thems the usual signs of Gyno.

Many people say letrozole will reverse gyno, you might want to look into that.  I read a post somewhere on here describing the regime you should run it at to cure gyno.  But be careful as it will kill your libido and if run too long will impair your lipid profile and immune system.

As what dragonheart reccommends, letrozole can be a good choice combating the gyno or "droopiness" of the nips, especially during competition preps as it can also help to harden you up significantly  ;)

The Doc injected you with deca as you were sick? What kind health problems does deca help to solve, besides mucle wasting and joint pains? Do fill me up on this.

I also have this fucked up puffy nip syndrome, but i had it ever since i was young due to being a fat bastard in the past. Letrozole brought it under control during contest prep periods but once im off it, the puffiness seems to be back again. Pain in the ass i must say.

Do give letrozole a try. Im sure you will like it. It does seem to supress libido levels as what dragon says, so do have some cialis around if u seem to experience trouble getting it up. ;D

sounds like you have a condition called lipomastia, which is excess fat tissue around the nipple area that can look like gyno, but its really not.  You might want to try yohimburn to see if it will help

http://www.yohimburn.com/

Ive never used it, but a friend of mine who is knowledgeable about such things told me that it does work somewhat.

Thanks for the site link. Seems more of a transdermal gel that one would benefit from during contest preps, not in the middle of the off-season?

Bodybuilding.com seems to be selling this transdermal which seems to be pretty similar and cheaper: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/al/lipoultra.html  Is it the same in terms of effect?

Read somewhere that bodyfat must be of low percentage to begin with to see noticable cosmetics effects. Did your friend use it during contest prep or offseason? Do fill me on this.

he used it when cutting up for summer.  what its supposed to do is activate the fat cells that are stubborn and difficult to burn,  i.e. lovehandles.

on the faq on that site it mentions people using it for your problem as well, thats why i gave you the link.  im going to try it when i start dieting in a few months
