I have a friend from school.. he's 25. Been using orals on and off for about 4 years. He'd pop em til he put on 20 pounds, then he'd get sick and lose 10. He kept this going and got up to about 200 at 6 foot and 6% BF. Always very lean.

In the last 2 months, he's had skin cancer removed from his thighs (?) several cysts removed from his back, and now he has a strange growth in his testicles.

Why do I say to the guy? He won't share what his blood work/internals look like, but I know he's hurting right now. I just said "I'm here for you man" but I don't know what to say beyond that. Doesn't seem like he wants to talk about it. I dunno if his time is limited, or if it's taken care of. I guess the areas (thighs???) then back, then testes, means whatever it is, has probably spread, right?

what kind of orals was he using? alot of anadrol can backfire on you.

Is he still taking them? If so tell him he's a dumbass.

This is why it's a good idea to know both your own and your family health history regarding diseases, etc., before starting steroids. I'd also say being honest with yourself is very important (ie someone who has a strong family history of cancer, yet says "I'm going to take the risk anyways").

i know alot of peeps liek this especially on a certain website (ana____c minds.com) not tryin to bash that site since it is cool but damn.. you go to the anabolics forum and everyone is popping superdrol and everyother oral there is in handfuls.... ive never seen so many orals taken at once...

and yes i think its a fear of needles

my personal opinion is that orals are good the first 2 weeks of a cycle and in moderation and that is it orals I think do more harm than good

he was very secretive about it... but his best friend had a big stash that "expired in 2007". I'm 99% sure he said they were dbol.

I had no idea steroids had expiration dates, or if they become toxic near the end. Or, if these had been exposed to moisture, accelerating their demise.

He said these were years old. I'd guess they'd just lose effectiveness, but I do konw that antibiotics become liver toxic when expired.

He faints around needles. Real insecure guy. Flexing and stretching nonstop to intimidate the room. Guy was an animal when 'on'.

My best guess, is 3.5 years, cycles of 10 weeks on, 2-4 weeks off. Zero PCT (and it was painfully obvious- he took cialis during those times). Gained total of maybe 50 pounds over that time, and never broke 10% bodyfat no matter how much taco bell he ate.

I spoke to him more today. He's just attributing it to bad luck, but no one else in his family has a history of cancer, they all live to 80 and die of heart disease.

Anyway, he said he hasn't gone in for blood work yet. He won't even look at the papers his doc gave him when taking shit out of his inner thigh. He almost has two little testicles in addition to his regular balls. Crazy. Sounds like he's just going to avoid the issue.

Yeah, he has always used orals. He's always been huge and ripped... but it's weird. He has little growths/cysts coming up on his thighs, nuts, and back now. I dunno if it's cancer, I dunno if it's roids... but if I had to put money on it, I'd guess something is terribly wrong on the inside. SUcks.

Something is defidently wrong with him. Is he on any other drugs/medications? or does he drink heavily? Do you know what dose of the orals he's taking? It sounds to me like there's something more then steroids going on.

i'd like to know how oral steroids are responsible for this. i know guys who have taken anadrol for over a year straight and they had no problems. i've heard of guys back in the 70's taking dbol for years on end with zero problems.

I have incomplete information, I don't know if it's because of steroids or not, and he's not telling me the whole story. I guess I just posted it here to fill in some blanks, or maybe scare some youngin' into using his brain before taking orals unchecked.

I'm actually pro-use, even though I choose not to. I'll get with the program in a few years, under a doc's care, once my test starts to dip too low (i'm 29 now). So no, this thread isn't BS. I was just hoping to learn a little more about cancer, orals, etc. I don't know if my buddy has 50 more years or 50 more days left here... he's being pretty quiet about it.
