How often do some of you guys drink alcohol? Is it becoming a problem?

I restrain myself because of training and never drink, otherwise i'll drink everyday.
i drink alcoohol once a month but i get shit drunk, i drink alcoohol to fast.

You guys need to know that you don't have to drink literally everyday to have a problem with alcohol.

If you get plastered every weekend, there is a chance that you are atleast abusing it.

Casual drinking would be having a few drinks a couple days out of the month.

Grown men having hangovers/blackouts every weekend is a cause for concern.

Steroid are an addiction too. I have seen guys start in college then for decades pursue the syringe and vial life style. It becomes an addiction because of several reasons. When on you feel great almost like an anti depressant feeling of well being. You feel aggressive and confident. When off cycle and it takes time to clear your system you feel timid, depressed and nervous. Some rationalize like smokers do that they know an 80 year old who still kicking and began smoking at 15. Yes they exist but it doesn't change it's a risk to health.

You also get addicted to all the compliments you get on your drug acquired physique. It feeds the insecure little boy that needs you're a man affirmations from others. I can't count how much money guys have spent through the years buying this crap. I know guys that have thrown away the pursuit of a career following the syringe life. Then when they are in their 40's give up the life style due to finances, health or even arrest many state training with the drug assist is a waste of time and stop training.

This is my opinion but if you have addiction problems to alcohol you are at risk for all addictions.

Not at all. I honestly don't see myself going after attending the 16 meetings that I have to.

That does not mean I didn't take anything away from those meetings.

Actually I am trying to lean as much as I can for myself, but also sharing some of what I have learned to maybe help someone who is in denial.

No rhyme or reason. might go a week, weeks or even a month or two at a time without a drink then could drink two or three nights in a row.
I've never felt I needed a drink {like I had a tough day at work or a fight with my girl}
I drink for fun and won't let if effect me in a bad way.....lets say I have something important the next day at work or personal, then I'm not drinking the night before.

I would consider it a problem the moment i can't show up sober at my 36 hour job anymore.

Any other moment seems suitable to get absolutely piss smashed weither being alone or with others.

I usually have a glass of merlot or a cocktail before bed most evenings.  About every two or three weekends I go out with some friends and drink 4-6 drinks, usually fine, hard liquor and some hoppy and exotic beer I've never had before. 

It's not a problem until it affects your health or your goals.  For some people that takes very little and for some it's not an issue.  For example, my mom used to have a glass of wine and become a raging bitch for hours on end.  Me or my father could drink until we passed out and never get angry if we wanted to (never tried it).

Lesson here is 'know your limits.'

i refused.  i have a few asian friends since middle school.  their parents would usually put out a big spread just because they had a friend over.  i smelled it and tried to jin up the willpower.  couldn't do it.
