Candy machines at the gym?????????? WTH

So, the gym I go to when I'm in Ottawa has two vending machines in the main lobby

one has pop, the other chips, chocolate bars, and candy

I know the importance of spiking insulin after a workout but they still seem out of place

After a hard 15 min. workout of talking on the cell, while walking at 1.5 MPH, you can now follow it up with a hearty nutritional meal comprising of Doritos and M & M's...

on some machines you can get free drinks or candy or whatever else  Press the numbers 4-3-2-1-1-2-3-1-1  You can then press any key and get whatever it is.  It has worked several times for me in the past.  It really does work.  It seems to be some kind of service code for technicians

I have not come across candy machines in gym when I travel in NZ or the gym that I train at in Dunedin NZ. What the is right.

That's how they keep membership up! They feed off the lack of willpower of the fat masses who buy that after workout, feel fat the next day and head back to the gym!

The candy machines will popular when the parents bring there kids to the gym.The kid will end up asking both parents can I have money for the candy machine.
