That's not a joke. You can see part of Trayvon's body under that. The Ice Tea fell out while paramedics were working on him and was placed on him to preserve the scene. Its from the Smoking GunPeople can cry all they want about Zimmerman's injuries but its nothing compared to Trayvon's.

Yes, it matters. It gives some sense of what the jury pool might be thinking. And yes, you can provoke a fight and still defend yourself. The physical evidence and eye witness testimony that has been released so far does not show Martin was acting in self defense. It shows Zimmerman was the one trying to defend himself from a beat down.
