I heard he was 5'5'' in 1975. Maybe he lost some height due to age(Arnold was 6'2'' and he is 6' tall now, Lou was 6'5'' and he's 6'3'' now)^

I think that even today they lie about their height. When I met him ('75), I think Franco was around his claimed height of 5' 5". Now, probably not as with the passing of years, we all shrink. And Franco seemed a good guy that day long ago. He was polite and had a good sense of humor as did Ken Waller.

Im 5'10 I stood near Phil Heath in 2008 in Warrington, he was doing a guest spot, no way is he 5'9, 5'7 at best.

Wish there were more quality shots like this of the 74 O, Arnold was incredible. Is there any footage out there of the 1973 olympia?

No, there isn't. Wayne Gallasch has some black and white grainy footage of the 1974 Olympia but there's none of the '73 Olympia. It's ironic because Charles Gaines and George Butler attended that contest to cover it for their book Pumping Iron. Too bad they didn't think to hire a film crew to take some video footage of the contest as well.

There is colour footage of 74 too but the quality is terrible, no detail. Shame about 73, could be arguably his great shape with 74.

to my surprise, some bodybuilders actually lower their height, meaning they claim to be 5'6'' when they are 5'7'', or they claim to be 5'10'' when they are 5'11'', etc

Who filmed that footage before the '74 International? Arnold was looking huge when he guest posed at that contest
