Kids are innocent. They are love personified. We are talking about significant others in this thread.
Gotta play devil's advocate here. Kids aren't so innocent. I know it makes a great bumper sticker and whatnot, but it's not very honest. Babies are selfish, needy creatures that will make your life miserable if they don't get what they want. Not their fault, of course, it's human nature. But they have to be taught to share ("It's mine!"), not to steal (the cookie jar), and to be compassionate. Kids are absolutely brutal to the fat/four-eyed/freckled redhead, etc., everyone has experienced this. That's instinct. We are naturally kinda rotten, but we
learn to be more selfless. Love is more than wanting Mommy 'cause you're hungry.
