Rumor has it that he charged him over 20K for 3 shows....go figure. Joe, I know you are reading this. Care to share?

If he paid 20k for "advice" how much did it cost for:

1.  Tanning
2.  Food
3.  Gear
4.  Posing Suits
5.  Travel
6.  Misc.

???????????

What a waste of money.

Even still, what a ripp off.  Think about it, if Kamali took the money and invested it in an index fund, after 20 years he would have a crap load of cash.

What does he get now for this "advice"?  Scorn, laughter, ridicule, caricatures, jokes etc.

Nothing against McNeil. Maybe that was his asking price. The fool is Kamali being delusional thinking he could capitalize on that "investment".

As part of getting a "Pro Card",they should give a lesson tothese guys in basic economics.  Lets say he spent 50K total fir everything soup to nuts this year - you have to ask?

1.  Is the money better used opening a business or in an investment?
2.  Is there any real chance in placing in a show that at least would cover all the expenses?
3.  Do any of the costs get covered by the sponsor?

Something to think about.

It just seems really idiotic to me.  When you think about a guy approaching his mid thirties with very little prospects for making real money long term, one really must questions the sanity of some of these guys.

Kamali represents everything that is WRONG with bodybuilding...

This fatass thought he would slin/GH his way to titles in SPITE of obvious genetic defaults.  This fool now has his hair almost GONE on top of looking like GREG KOVAKS/KOVACS without the prune belly.

Correction: The fatass thought that he would mouth his way to the titles spite of obvious genetic defaults. Once he realized that it wasn't happening then he "loaded" up. which was the icing on the cake...good bye Tamali.

Willy Loman went through life with this warped sense of reality that was only "real" to him, while reality was that he was a loser.  He lived in an alternate universe that had no connection with the real world.

Kamali really believed he was going to be Mr. Olympia and going to light the world on fire etc etc.  Read that 2000 interview.  Geez.  By believing his nonsense, he convinced himself that he was better than Shawn and better than the other pro's.  As it did not happen, he resorted to dangerous drugs and other things that made a mockery of himself to the point where people here post silly pictures of him, etc.  Heck he can't go on any website, other than his own, where he is not laughed at.
