Thank you my brother.....it`s just a shame that a big hulking man like Hanky would wipe the stage with me.   :(

If Brianna was on that stage with along with you they'd give him the broom
& tell to sweep back stage. That's about the level of his physique.

A know nothing deluded idiot he is.

Indeed my friend......but in his limited brain he thinks he`s the best thing since sliced bread......best bodybuilder on the entire board.

If I didn`t despise him so much,I`d feel sadness for his delusions............... ....no,I wouldn`t....nevermind.  :D

I don`t know about you  GR,but I`m assuming since you are certainly no dummy, that as you have gotten older that you more than likely do many or at least much more warm up sets than you did when you were younger.

It helps bigtime......I still go as heavy as I can for the reps I`m gunning for,but I make damn sure I do plenty of specific warm up sets first.

BYW,you are looking great brother......NO HOMO.  ;)

Wes, thank you... Yup, these days I stretch, use bands, do more light sets, etc.
Back in the day it would be one light set, and off we go..

I have been lucky in 45 yrs of training (injury wise) except for the last 2 yrs. Hoping its behind me.
My back issues are not training related, so I dont count those. (Slight curve at base of spine causes disc herniation, nerve pinching, etc.).
Even as a kid, so not related to training, just flares up when I do something stupid... Mainly my shoulder (only) is a life-long injury related thing.
I also remember doing damage early on as a kid, trying to throw as hard as possible for baseball. (So I may have fucked it up royally there instead).

All my issues can be non-training related. It just happens to aggravate them on occasion...

Cool !!

Weirdly enough as I`m sure you know,we can train hard and heavy for eons then move a couch for a friend or sommthing and tear a bicep.....I guess we`ve both been pretty lucky for the time we have put in .....that`s for sure.

I`ve been very lucky myself having trained as heavy as possible (way too heavy with shitty form when I was younger and dumber) with my slight frame.........only real downside is my three bulging discs and slight arthritis in my neck and lower back.

Other than that I`ve had little tweaks of course but nothing ever too serious.

Train hard  but always be careful my friend!  ;)

It depends on what is torn muscle or tendons a torn muscle belly is like hamburger meat and can not be sewn back together. A torn or detached tendon can be reattached. I have a torn muscle belly in my pec the tendon is intact as such there is nothing, they can do for it. When I sheared my right triceps tendon off the bone, they reattached it at the elbow.

Not sure who owns/curates the bhank ailments list, but is this one on there..?

I just mentioned in Rambone's butcher box thread that I've got a butcher nearby - he sells duck eggs* so I'll often get them instead, they're a bit bigger with nice orange yolks - is that a thing in the US..?

This is the scar from my reattachment. I hid a lot of the scar with the tattoo but you can see the surgical scar on the elbow and heading up the tricep behind the tattoo it was a complete detachment. I hit the elbow hard on a brick wall and it sheared the tricep right off the bone.
