Calvin has been training for a 4k race for a year which took total focus.

He's trying to top his record of 3k where he also had to carry a 2x4 for 50 feet.

Yes, Calvins abs have gone the way of the dinosaur. I was scared to work out when I was sick so that was close to a month of comfort eating :-[

Had to bury my old man this week. I have no idea how people can get through a week like that without booze.
21 year old Appletons rum and the usual Heineken and Corona all went bloody well.

You need to share the wealth here.  This is horseshit.

Read "Living with a Seal".   Funny, but interesting.  Easy read that can be knocked out in a week.

It's about a super rich guy (Jesse Itzer) who hired a seal for a month to live with him and get in shape.

The craft beer makers are nearing perfection in my area - Treehouse / Trillium / Vitamin Sea.

Ridiculous stuff.

I can't get into the beer thing. Just not a fan. I do like to try different whiskeys though.

I like both, and alternate generally.

Recently had a small batch whiskey by Bibb and Tucker.

Pleasantly surprising for a 6 year bourbon.

Same not a beer guy myself. I will pick up a six pack here or there once in awhile while checking places for bourbon so owners don’t think it’s the only reason I stop in.

...even though bourbon is the only reason I’m stopping in :D

I don't mind a Corona or Stella as long as it's cold and in a bottle.  I cannot do craft beers.  Especially if they are on tap.  I get drunk, sick and hung over like a mother fucker.

Lol, everyone learns that lesson the hard way.

If a craft beer is running at 8%, a seemingly harmless pint is the alcohol equivalent of 2.5 beers.....so you have two or three and it hits you.

Picked up a bottle of  Thomas H Handy rye.
Paid to much for it but still not even close to what it’s being sold on line for.
