Rodman was something else.  He said once that what he liked to do instead of box guys out was get them tangled up with him so they weren't able to get to the ball.  His anticipation for where the ball was going was God like.  He used to tip the ball to himself several times if he couldn't just grab it.  He purposely became kind of a circus freak later on but I really used to enjoy his game.  Great, super athletic player with a very high basketball IQ.  Best rebounder ever.

absolutely

Nba should fine lakers and kobe if he rests for that game.
People pay to see him.
I am so happy he played when I was in LA, he played 2 games in 2 days.
Those days maybe over now that his passes jordan on the scoring list.
Nick young is ok but not paying to watch him play.

this is why Im glad I got to see him when I did, would of hurt if i flew 14 hours and see him in a suit on the bench.

He maybe carrying a injury, this season is done anyhow, he has scored more then MJ, i am not sure what the point is from now on.

Not quite the same result today.  It's funny how things can be a little different when you increase the sample size.

Unfortunately the lakers will be terrible till kobe is gone.
I can't believe he told reporters that his 'old' it seems like his
Giving up. I can be wrong, I believe be is really hurt if he missed a Christmas game.
He is human.
Lakers need a top draft pick, the also could use that rookie
Point guard in Minnesota Zach lavine, his awesome.
Not going to blame Byron Scott, he isn't working with much.
Tough times ahead for laker nation.
I do love kobe, and was happy to see him play live but if his saying
That his body is tired then he should be on limited minutes and go out healthy.

Why is Cleveland still being Cleveland and not getting Blatt out of there and try to save this season?  Lebron must be kicking himself for going back to that shitty situation and thinking it would be any better or different.

I blame the players and not Blatt.
Lebron is a fucken diva, and the rest follow.
They tune the coach out cause lebron is.
No respect at all. I hope the lakers kill them today.

If lebron was the king his team should easily be over 50%.
He wants Mark Jackson as coach.

Ok its about now I need Kobe to take a seat and retire.

I hate when marquee players sitout back to back games and miss games on the road.

Every interview i have seen Kobe in the last few weeks he has mentioned he is "OLD"

hang em up man, Lakers fucking suck, next year will be the same. Kobe is on his way to blowing out his knee.

Great he got 17 assists, meant fuck all. Another L. Byron Scott, fuck it, dont get me started.

No big name will join the lakers next season, I saw on ESPN First Take that the buss family may sell the
franchise, as they have no clue on how to run it.

Thanks Kobe24/8 for all the great memories.

Yeah Kobe is going to retire soon.  I've never seen Kobe laughing it up with Lebron so much like yesterday.  The black mamba is never so jolly.

Kobe is still a very good player and he can do a lot of good things but when he ripped that achilles I knew that the Black Mamba days were pretty much done.  It sucks.  When you have to take games off to rest your legs (like Tim Duncan has been doing for the last 5 years) it's time to retire.  I wouldn't be surprised if Kobe retires after this season.  I'm not saying he will, but if he did I wouldn't be surprised.

I could be wrong, but it also looks like Lebron isn't the same player he was a couple years ago.  He's still among the best in the league but he doesn't seem to be as explosive.  They are eventually going to fire their coach in Cleveland.  The season is almost half over and they playing .500 basketball.

I know for a fact kobe hates his wife and vice versa (take my word for it)
I think he wants to play another year cause he will be bored to death and he needs to get
Away from the Mexican wife.
Kobe is still good, he can't be stopped, he just missed a lot of open shots and is not able to shake off the defender on the drive.
Not caring about lebron, as it will be him that fires Blatt.
Blatt will still get paid for his whole contract. So fuck lebron.
Goodluck winning with Kevin Love's fucked up back.

How's bout them Knicks?? Hahahaha

When Cleveland was planning to trade Wiggins I was telling everyone that Kevin Love was overrated.  He's no spring chicken either.  Now his back is fucked up.  I don't know son.  Fuck them though.  LA Lakers will rebuild.

lebron, wade, bosh all shrunk mid-year last year when the MLB miami dealer got busted.  And the NBA started hgh testing this year.  all 3 of them are skinny and weak now.  The amount of size lebron lost, it's nuts.  I don't buy "just scaling down" because his muscle is gone, but also his recovery, his explosiveness, his stamina.  he is off the GH, IMHO.  it happened mid-year last year, and we saw in the playoffs what happened.

That's fucked.
They should allow lebron and kobe to take it.
You are right, they cannot recover after back to back games.

espn's Bill simmons and cowherd got lots of hate when they pointed out the time/location proximity... clinic that serves gh to pro athletes in MIA gets busted... Heat suddenly nose-dive, their whole team is injured, Lebron gets "tired" mid-season for the first time... they' get destroyed in Finals... wade and Bron empty what's left in their fridge and they both lose 30+ pounds over the summer... and they are both good players this year, but they can't jump out of the gym anymore, they don't look like linebackers anymore.   lebron goes from looking like a jacked 23 year old to a fitness 33 year old over night.

Look at this change... can't blame a quick summer diet for this.

WORST part will be next year, when lebron's up for the new mega-contract with the new salary-cap structure and he can get a $150 million deal... I bet he gets on the GH again and is #1 in everything again... and the idiot pundits will say "lebron abandons his paleo diet and gains back 40 pounds of muscle - was it the right move"?    LOL
