There were quite a few things that made it drop, the main one was that blunder when someone punched in the wrong numbers, the euro markets, the Gulf oil spill, etc. The fact remains it hasn't recovered since. Is it Obama's fault? Not entirely but he sure as hell isn't worried about not is he helping.
