If you're that worried about AAS use in athletes???...
« on: July 23, 2006, 11:08:45 PM »
Why does this shit not bother you at all?
What ingredient found in about 360 bodybuilding products caused the symptoms listed below in Laboratory rats?  And was only tested on 23 human subject with the longest study being 4 days in length and did not look at human tolerance?  I' mean if you're going to get all freaked on steroids, I would think one might be worried just a bit about something that shrinks your thymus any amount greater than it already does.  Can you say cancer accelerant :-\

Shrunken thymus glands (up to 40 percent shrinkage)
Enlarged liver and kidneys
Atrophy of lymph follicles in the spleen and thymus
Increased cecal weight
Reduced growth rate
Decreased red blood cell count
Hyperplasia of the pelvis
Extension of the pregnancy period
Aborted pregnancy
Decreased fetal body weights and placental weights
Diarrhea

Like anything else, anything in excess is bad. Doctors prescribe steriods everyday for people who actually need them, there's side effects for every drug on the market!

He's talking about sucralose, an artificial sweetener. Hardly a deadly compound. ::)

Yea, I said people were just dropping dead left and right didn't I ::)  I guess the guy in 15+- years with a thymus 40% smaller than it would have been has no worries.  I'm not sure I get it.  Here's something with serious health implications over longterm use as is so with AAS use according to many here who are so fond of pointing it out but this one is no big deal... why ???  You all are the ones so worried about what going to happen to someone years down the road.

sucralose... I can only take it with things that have no acid and usually consume milk with it to make sure.  If I have it anywhere near consumption of something high in acid like coffee or citrus, I'm fucked for about 72 hours.  Extreme headache and nausea like I drank a bottle of jack the day before.  Fucked up stuff.  Other people report no problems at all.  I wish the shit didn't exist.
