Getting smashed by the guy wouldn't be a great time, that's for sure. Seeing the devastation in such a way as what's presented in the video is horrible. Ouch.

A forceful, well-placed and competent punch can yield much damage.

So with this in mind ... Might as well go for a soda.

Love a good body shot. Head shots have more eye appeal, but a well set up body punch will always make me scrunch my face up in sympathy with the fighter.

Mickey Rourke must give one hell of a body shot. Remember that black dude he "beat" with some weak ass body shot?
Never seen such a disgrace.

Not rocket science here, but anyone with a little boxing experience can tell you that the guy is employing two basic boxing techniques:

Absorbing the punches with the help of breathing and tension of the abdomen

When you see the guy taking punches to the stomach, notice how he stiffens up his abdominal muscles and breathes out so that he's literally creating a hard shell around his abdominal area. This kind of technique is improved upon with a medicine ball at the gym.

Rolling with the punches

The guys in the video are also simply propelling their bodies away from the punch in order to decrease the damage. That, along with their tension/breathing techniques to absorb the strikes, allows for them to pull this stunt off.

Don't get it twisted though, the next day, these guys are pretty bruised up.

I would be more impressed if you saw these guys taking strikes to the head and not being knocked out.
