After his horrible showing last year most said he was done. He won a second tier show in the Europa but it still was a win for a guy people have written off. Does he have what it takes to make the top 5 at the O if he comes in dry and ripped?

Also - I would like to know if you are a judge/ Dark Blue Jacket or someone that watches Webcasts and borrows magazines from your local gym

look kid, there's no santa clause, no easter bunny, no tooth fairy and the Olympia results are bought and paid for by sponsors. its not a contest. there is no "competing" for anything.

There is no so call Hype - Because there is nothing to Hype up -
5 shows and 2 to go - X is a national Champion from the NPC - who is doing what Bodybuilders are suppose to do - Compete !
Becoming Productive and a Force , He took five years off and returned to the sport, Last year was great with a disappointing showing at the O - No excuses - refocused he pounded back from a outside the Top Ten to Knocking on the door -

Since he is old as dirt - He decided to compete with his Peers at the Masters http://www.ifbb-npcatlanticcityproam.com/ ( Freeman made a promise to the Promoter years ago to compete! He is living up to his obligations )
When asked what next :
" shape , symmetry and size - Represent BB the best way I know how, 100% everyday all day - No off seasons - people pay to see BB - not IFBB Pros warm up for a Big show! Some fans can not get to the Big show, whether it be cost or personal obligations - But this about people getting in shape and living the good life. When people ask me about nutrition and working out - Their eyes tell the whole story - The want to know how to get better! I will tell them.
Kevin Levrone and Lee Haney among the other super stars did that for me when I was starting out and Since I am blessed to be where I am - I must give back ......pause he had to eat ......So That is Why I am so Focused, I almost lost all this momentum last year!
With my family , friends , encouragement from Weider Fam, the judges and my team- they reminded me what a Champion is .. So the Hype is for people who need it , I want the Mr.O title and responsibility to be the ambassador of Fitness ..... plus I hear they pay you for all this too .... hahahahaha http://www.toneyfxman.com/

I think he probably still subscribes to all the mags and beleives that the "pros" really follow the training and nutrition programs they hype in there.

Unfortunately Toney has a boring physique. He deserved his wins according to the judging criteria of bodybuilding, but nothing pops out as especially great. He doesn't have the greatest back, chest, arms, etc... It all just flows exceptionally well. Dennis James has that "Holy Shit" factor despite his symmetry problems. Its odd to say, but sometimes the imbalances make for a much more interesting bodybuilder.

dont get me wrong...big toney is def deserving to battle 1 and 2 at the O IMO because of how close he comes to presenting a perfect body for bodybuilding standards...he has one of the prettiest (no homo) Builds of all the bb's...
.were just factoring bb politics and bullshit...
bb'ers like D.Charles, Freeman, Anthony, would win in my mr o...If i had a "Mr. Look crazier than a muthafucka contest" complete with one bodypart bodybuilders like "J, i have big shoulders and stomach" Cutler... thats a different story

Toney looked great! And he will do very well at Atlantic City... although Melvin Anthony might have something to say about that, as well as others, but when it comes to the Mr. Olympia stage, that is a whole different story.
I will be happy if he can come in the top 6!

jay, dex, wolf and heath will be top 4, there is no disputing that. as someone else said 5th will be a battle between gustavo, freeman and melvin. Personally I think freeman will be 7th this year.

That was totally a compliment. Just because i'm not a big fan of his doesnt mean that i don't think he deserved the win, he should have won. I'm just saying that as a fan of bodybuilding, the "holy shit" types of physiques are cooler to me. However, those physiques often suffer the most imbalances.

6'2 285 pounds. 30-31 in waist. Coming off 2 wins against one the best bodybuilders of all times - DJ
Placed outside the 10 ten first time ever (olympia 07)
Never complained
Re focused fought back against the odds and is back in front of the Door
Placed 3rd Behind Dex and Mel earlier this year
Can speak , great routines , good fan base- works hard and competes at the same time
Focused on the Atlantic City show - doesn't look past anyone - including people over looking him!
