Spot On.

All Heath has to do is Not Fuck It Up and he's in.

Then again, that didn't seem to hinder Jay all that much :P

Dexter doesn't promote bodybuilding the way Jay did.

Either Jay or Phil would make better ambassadors than Dexter.

That pretty much sums it up to a T.

The Mr. Olympia has NOTHING to do with who has the best physique.

Let's get this straight, the judges are point blank told how to place the guys? Or are the scores changed when they are turned in? Who exactly are the shot callers who decide the winner? Is it the head sponsor? Or AMI? Weider?

If it's just politics, why the hell did they give the title to Dexter? Makes no sense to me.

Well, they have to give the head sponsor's athlete a high placing as a 'thank you' for production costs etc...

If the guy isn't with AMI?Weider he stands no chance at winning. It's their contest and say if a Dennis Wolfe won it as he is with MD do you think Blechman is going to let AMI/Weider showcase him in Flex? No. Never. Not a chance. So why would they let someone els win knowing that the competition will put him on lockdown?

Are the scores changed? Yes. Absolutely. It's done in a way to cover their tracks in case a competitor wants to challenge anybody. They have the score cards to prove it.

The judges are told how to place the guys based on lots of factors. This whole contest is a complete sham. The guys who place from 8th and down are probably judged fairly, though.

The title was given to Dexter because if a Jay won again as he was so obviously out of shape then it would have been a buisness-as-usual thing and they would expect tickets and attendence to be down this year as we are tired of seeing the same guy win over and over. They gave it to Dexter because nobody can argue it... it created the illusion that the Mr. Olympia is judged on physique and not politics and to create the hype for 2009 as Jay will try to regain his title and the Olympia is open for anybody this time blah blah blah...

It is all a big orchestrated buisness move.
