In the second largest steroid bust in United States history, a multi-jurisdictional task force including members of the IRS, DEA, and FDA made 53 arrests ending this morning at 4.30 AM. According to DEA spokesperson Rusty Payne, 53 people have been arrested and charged with various steroid, growth hormone, and related drug offenses in the Southern District of Texas, and 22 will additionally face Federal charges. The investigation began in ‘06 with a smaller bust that ultimately led authorities to the arrests made today.

Among the anabolic steroids and growth hormone, ecstacy, hydrocodone and viagra were also involved in the alleged drug trafficking, which included hundreds of thousands of dosage units.

Right now, it appears that at least one professional bodybuilder, personal trainers, pharmacists, numerous amateur bodybuilders, and two firefighters have been arrested in the operation. Among those allegedly charged, according to Mesomorphosis.com founder Millard Baker, is Jay Moore - an NPC amateur bodybuilder and  the training partner of Branch Warren (who is the former training partner of David Jacobs, called the "NFL's BALCO", and  the man who  killed himself and his girlfriend, Amanda Savell last year in a murder suicide). Sources in the Houston area also claim that Frank "Texas Tornado" Roberson (an IFBB professional bodybuilder) may have been arrested and charged, although these claims are currently unsubstantiated.

State charges: Texas, Louisiana, Indiana
Federal charges: Texas, California, Georgia

Look at it like this don't expect any miracles and really you don't need one. If you love working out enough, you'll get of on the feeling alone. When you love the feeling of pushing the iron, that's good enough.

LOL. By getbig standards I don't look like I work out maybe, but then again, very few people do, including you. By normal real life standards, lots of people on getbig look like they work out. I have known guys who ate like shit, got drunk every weekend and still looked great, big and lean. Why? Genetics. There is hardly any activity where genetics are such a transparent factor as bbing. Ask Kyomu, he readily conceded the following scenario:

Man A=poor genetics + 100% effort
Man B=great genetics +60% effort

Man B wins every time.
