Okay, so it was today.
We has some leftover leg of lamb from Easter which cost a bundle and I was not about to feed it to the puppies. I made a impromptu lamb stew with carrots, onions, celery and potatoes. Since there is no such thing as lamb stock at the market, I substituted beef broth. Anyway, after seasoning the stew with rosemary and other Italian herbs, it turned out great. Note: it would have been better made with lamb shanks.
