My "How little you know" statement was a reference to my shooting for FLEX.

It's interesting how the tone of your posts changes. The ones you copy and [aste for Wayne are far more readable. The othres are your usual whining garbage.

When I talk to my freiends in the IFBB, I won't say who, but you would recognize the names). They all say, "Jack, who cares, PDI, IFBB-the politics suck" I have so many buddies that are IFBB Pros, and all are happy for me.

I have no problem shooting with you. At the moment my bodybuilding stuff is exclusively with FLEX and scheduled through them. When I'm in the US it's at their expense and it wouldn't be right for me to undertake other work while I'm there.

So if jack showed up at your hotel room as you're watching TV at night, and asked you to take a few pics in the field next to the Motel 6 for his portfolio, you wouldn't do that? If you had a day off in the USA, and a PDI guy asked you to shoot, you wouldn't because you'd feel bad working on your OWN time?

Do you really have an MBA?
If a client pays for my flights, accomodation, and time, then I do not shoot anything else.
I do not shoot on my days off.
If any IFBB, PDI, NABBA or whatever athlete wants photos for their personal use - not for publication - and they are ever in the UK then if I'm available I'd be happy to oblige. And I don't even charge!

Yes, I do. And my contracts give me the flexibility to work on any project at any time, as long as I complete the terms of the contract on time. Why would you lock yourself down like this? If the skills and production levels you bring to FLEX is good enough to warrant any negotiating power, you should write that in. The entire day you spend in the hotel room watching tv and surfing getbig while waiting for your flight- you could schedule a few independent shoots and save yourself the next plane trip. I'm not flaming man- I'm just saying it's strange that you don't WANT to give yourself more opportunities to earn. You are an independent contractor- so FLEX doesn't have absolute power to determine you waste your time while waiting to head back. Just my 2 cents... but you gotta grab the $ while it's there, as long as the product you give FLEX does not suffer.
