I think that if Luke would just pull his shoulders back a little in some poses then it wouldn't overpower his chest it would flow better, because by no means is his chest small..

Flex would be about 5'9 right? Just trying to put things into perspective because it's obvious he's huge but Luke is so much bigger it's almost hard to exactly estimate his size when they are standing together like that.
i would guess that Lewis is more like 5'7" or 5'8" because i think Luke is like 5'10" or 5'11".

Flex is only 5'5." I think Luke has his shoes off there. Flex had the nickname long before he started bodybuilding. I think he's doing Britain's biggest show this fall to get his pro card, and he's only 22. Monster potential.

Flex might have only just turned 22, but his legs have been pro calibre for atleast 2 years already! Hes had numerous articles in flex magazine over here (UK) and he has never lost a contest in his life. When he won the Jr title at the EFBB champs, he looked better than the guy who won his pro card. Forget Ricky Welling and Simon Cohen (hes a fukkin joke) Flex Lewis is the next big thing since Ernie T. I believe he could go on to eclipse even Ernies accomplishments, if he can balance out his upperbody it is going to be as hard as it possibly can be to beat him.
Maybe the British can finally get some credit

Agreed, the real Flex is one one the greatest ever, and to call yourself Flex already just looks stupid. BTW he doesn't even look like Flex Wheeler( and not because he's white). He's young though and he looks great.

Yeah but it goes both ways - Tom Prince is small now that he's clean. On the same diet and training a lot of people on this board would probably do better in bodybuilding than Tom. But if they were juiced to the gills would they respond like he does?
In short what I'm saying is with any two people, one may respond better as a natural and the other may respond better to juice. Just because a given pro wouldn't be your size clean doesn't mean you would be his size juiced.
Make sense?

I guess it depends on the condition and bone structure. I have a friend who is 5'11 and only a little over 200 but he has good size, in large part due to his conditioning, so if he was 228 at that height and condition he would probably start looking stupid given how small his frame is.
i would guess my bodyfat was around 20 percent at that weight natural, eventually got to 243 juiced but my bodyfat dropped as well, weird thing is i haven't touched a thing in three years and i'm around 230 now.

Luke looks phenomenal...but flex has insane size for his age!! i wrote him an email...a email friend of mine told me he said he would be willing to help out young aspiring teens with ? and info...but he never mailed me back haha im sure hes busy...actually the same person told me to pm luke and he would give some words of wisdom and he nevr got back tm me hahah...but who knows they are both on the road to stardom so there free time must be limited lol. best of luck to both of them in 06

I PM'd Flex a few times on Milos' board and he always replied. Hes very humble and takes things as they come. Unlike that lifeless mass of afterbirth called Dick Anthony, James has a future in the sport and im sure his success will be well documented in years to come.

Still...he has to drop that 'Flex' name it just makes him seem like a poser despite the fact he has a physique to back it up. Put it this way...if he has a 'Overcome' tattoo on his inner forearm...I wouldnt be shocked. You just cant do it...it isnt original.

Luke looks ready for the stage now....really. Not much at all to be done in these last 2 weeks. I wouldn't do anything drastic coming up to the show. Stay full, get some carbs in ya, drop that last bit of water and cruise through. This is the best Luke has ever looked and I'll bet good enough for a top placing in NY!!!

I played hockey in highscool...I always had more assists than goals...if my nickname was 'Passer' in hockey circles then went to the Pro's...I wouldnt call myself 'Passer BlockHead' if there was a recent retired GREAT who basically patened(sp?) that title...know what I'm sayin?
If Jimmy Lewis was real...he'd demand to be called by his first name...

Thought i do my first post and say hi!
My names is James Flex Lewis
I come from a country called Wales in the uk. I grown up in small town called Llanelli i have two brothers and a great mother and my father.
My Mother is and ex nurse but now cant work due to her disability and my father works in the local steal factory,growing up with Dyslexic when a time no one knew any different and passing out with full honor, i know how hard you have to work for things in life and Bodybuilding is the hardest and best thing ive EVER done i could of gone anyother route in life but choose this. I ve been brought up on good morals and treat people how i like to be treated, many who have meet me know can agree to this.
As for my names.......
I was Christand with the Name James but Nicknamed with the name Flex 6 years later.... at 6 years old!
I have grown up being called Flex since i was 6 went through school being called Flex even get called Flex by my parents.
So now im in a sport who also has a flex, whom i might add was one of the greatest Bodybuilders of all time, now when i heard that there was another Flex i did think to go and change my name at one point, but my Mother was the person who stopped me, gotta understand my backround im from a country where pride ourselves on being Good Natured true to ones self so changing my name was altering all 16 years of people calling me a name i answer to, think of someone saying sorry we cant call you ''Ronnie'' as there another Ronnie in this sport......... Hold on who was the winner of the Australia G.Prix is there a thread on that? NO
When i got into the sport i didnt know of any other Flex only after i did my first show, i was flown to America by Golds gym Owner Ed Connors at he age of 19 and i was exposed to a great life which could be attained thought hard work and persistence in Bodybuilding.
Now im cutting a long stories short im 22 Years old im 23 weeks out from my first Pro Card Qualifier i train now under Milos whom i might add is like my father or big brother (sorry milos make you feel younger) over here, i get addressed as Flex by all the Pros and all ifbb officials so they dont seem to have a problem with my name?
Ive appered in many Major Publications in articles in Europe and Usa i get printed as James Flex Lewis now if there was such a big fuss on my name you think the editors would of not printed this???
Talking of article next months Flex.......... Flex Lewis and Dorian Yates training together in Dorians Temple Gym!
But im sorry ONE OR TWO people feel offended as i have the name Flex Lewis but sorry im here to stay. I love this sport!
If it Helps anyone many of my friends call me Flexy so with the extra Y on the end hey its a different name!!!

I'm willing to bet it really isnt...its just he reads all the time like 99% of the pros answer when asked 'Favorite Cheat Meal: Cheesecake!' so he feels inclined to answer 'cheesecake'. Anyone els out there feel me on that one?

Hey flex i saw you walking about at last years fitness expo in london, you look to have gained alot of size since then. Has you're mate gotten any more powerlifting records, i remember his strength was crazy!

Do you remember the All Natural Ronnie "Alcatraz" Coleman - a Twinlab sponsored athlete from a decade ago? Maybe he should have asked the other Ronnie Coleman (the Big Nasty)to change his name? Maybe that would have pleased you also? ;D Back then the big nasty was just another bodybuilder! and "Alcatraz" was the next big thing - except that Skip "Mass Machine" Lacour kept beating him on stage!
Flex Lewis is a YOUNG guy with loads of potential! I believe that he has the genetic potential and the inner drive to become a LEGEND in the sport!
I believe that all of you will be equally impressed with Flex Lewis if you ever have the opportunity to meet him in person!

flex lewis is 22, he looks great but when i think about what he has sacrificed..... he has missed out on a lot of things most people take for granted.... sometimes it is out of a persons hands but he has chosen to forgo a normal youth and teenage years..... i wonder if he ever regrets his decisions

Who is the best looking natural you've trained? Show me some scrawn dog who puts on 30 pounds of muscle in a year naturally, you trained, and I'll be impressed. Any clown can give some crazy juiced up freak a few exercises and of course, they'll grow. I've gotten a few tips from you over the years, so thanks. It's just not impressive to take some lab rat and direct him towards the squat rack.

Besides being a fantastic BBer with a great future, Flex (hahaha) is f'n hillarious. He has so much energy and loves to tell stories. He's got some good ones. I love to listen and laugh my ass off.
Get some good stories in time for Vegas again, hey flex? Can't wait to see you again mate. Oh, Wayne Demilia just granted me my PRO card as a PDI Pro. Its not the same as an IFBB pro but still a great honor as the organization takes form. Hopefully will compete next year sometime.

Yea his legs look huge...calves are sick. Very impressive. I agree with someone in this thread who advised no more tattoos...from what I'd expect he'd get a Superman 'S' or 'OverCome' on his inner forearm.

I checked out Flex Lewis' web site. This guy has got a lot of potential. I hope he makes the most of it. He could go to the top. Flex also have huge forearms!
Luke also looks great. He's always had good calves but next to Lewis they look a little skinny lol! But he's shredded and looks impressive as hell!

Just got back from the NABBA Wales in Barry Last week where two of my training partners won their class. (class 4 and over 50).

Leave it to 'Crotch' to make a point or two about steroids, again. Dude, get over it. It would be foolish of me to say that most bodybuilding topics don't relate to AAS. But on the other hand, its pretty much a constant in the pro ranks, like gravity. So enough with the 'what he would look like without…' or 'if I opted to use'… Because you're talking about something hasn't happened. Genetics aren't always in terms of the what have's...you kow, what had been born with. It sometimes related to how you respond, and how much you're body can really tolerate without having some sort of organ failure. There's a reason why these guys are exceptional bodybuilders…..more then you're willing to comprehend.

I don't necessarily understand your entire post, but I was just stating that Fles Lewis started juicing very young and you can't respond to the stuff (in a healthy way) forever. I have to say he looks great for his young age - just hope he doesn't take too much too quickly... Hopefully Milos can/will help him in that respect.

uh-oh...........time again for clarification; Flex Lewis does NOT play American Baseball! He is not a member of the USA Olympic Track Team nor the USA Olympic Swim Team. He is not in the NFL! So..... Why all the "gear" posts? Oh, because he allegedly uses "the gear"? AND of course without "the gear" his calves and forearms would be TINY and he would be 6'8". (that was meant as sarcasm)!
Flexy obviously has some great bodybuilding genetics!
What about hardcore training? How about discipline? What about the rigid diet? Do any of you care to know about Flexy's diet and training?
How did he build such a solid physique?
Many self confessed "gear" users don't look as huge, ripped and symmetrical as Flexy! If the allegations of "gear" usage are true, wouldn't Flexy look like any other NPC amateur?
As for making sacrafices at such a young age, any Welshmen care to explain the concept of RUGBY to these Americans? Flexy has a strong background in Rugby!

IMO Luke needs to work on his abs, they seem to fade away when he hits front lat spread and front double bicep poses.. Its really a bad disraction to see a flat midsection, Flex's abs are even showing better then Lukes and he's in offseason condition. Milos get on this. fix his abs >:(
