This Subway stop is near the location of the Original Mid City Gym. A lot of the wrestlers would train there when in town.

Hawk used to take powdered caffeine and make into a paste and take it before matches to get amped up and get the veins popping out of his neck just right

Now they both look really deadish

Liar Priest chilidogged booty.

They should spank black kids harder in schools. They've tried everything else.

Mid City was also Tom Minichiello's thing, you may also remember him as the guy that claimed Arnold was getting analed by  one of the Pumping Iron guys....

I don't recall animal dying...

He passed around 3 years ago. It was sad, he was getting a second wind career wise, and then, boom, he had a big heart attack. I wanna say he was in his late 50's.

Minichiello wrote the book Funk noted above. He tells stories of famous bodybuilders, but changes the names.
Alludes to Arnie's ghey exploits with Paco Arse and others.

Its a quick and funny read, sort of like "The Iron Game" by David Carter. (Carter was found murdered w/ his neck cut I believe).

Apparently, Tom recently passed away. From a generation when lifters lived long lives:

Fitness entrepreneur Thomas Minichiello died peacefully at the age of 89 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers on the morning of Sep 28, 2022, just hours before Hurricane Ian made landfall along Florida’s west coast. Born in Brooklyn, New York on Nov 22, 1932 to Italian immigrants Rocco and Margaret Minichiello, Tom grew up in nearby Queens. He served in active duty with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He married Theresa DeLuca in 1957 and they raised two sons while living in the Bronx and Westchester County. Tom’s interest in fitness began as an early teenager and, after starting at the Vic Tanny chain at the age of 25, he went on to fulfill his dream of having his own gym when he founded the Mid-City Health Club in 1962 in midtown Manhattan. Located in Times Square and the surrounding theater district during a time considered to be the golden era of bodybuilding, Mid-City’s membership grew rapidly, as well as becoming the port-of-call for out-of-towners

I just looked on my normal sites for those two books and didn't see anything.  Anywhere you know I can download them?

Hawk looking really smallish.

Before the cool makeup kicked up

Everyone had an experimental phase with their look

Even Ultimate Warrior who was Dingo Warrior and Paul Stanley who used the Bandit-makeup before the Star

Trial and Error
