Isn't Jay stated as 5'9" by the bodybuildings mags/Olympia stats, etc? If that's true then it would make sense that Jay's an inch shorter. The mags/Olympia stats (just like any other sporting stat thingy) probably do make the guy's height an inch or so taller.

I think a lot of the BBers exagerate their height. There's been talks over Arnold's actual height too whether he is REALLY 6'2... cause that's my bloody height... even in his bio he was like trying to emphasize that if i recall (been a while since i read it to be quite frank)...

Cause quite frankly most bb I've seen in real life have been actually pretty short.. in my experience..

Here is Jay standing next to me some years ago. I am 5-9 1/2". Jay looks to be about the same height as me.

I measured Arnold's height at 6' 1.5" in February 1969 at Mits Gym in Honolulu. All this rubbish about his height being much less is nonsense.

Saw Jay a few weeks ago when my girl was competing at Nationals.  I resisted all urges to clasp hands or do the "point with index finger at each other" pose, even though every instinct in me told me to DO IT.  Meeting Jay was cool and he was really down to earth.

I am 5'10, so my guess is Jay is 5'8 max.
